Well I just got my stitches out today.

Now, I have to just be careful when I'm eating, because "There's a chance food can get stuck in those wounds" ... hmm, that sounds tasty.

Other than that, I'm feeling a lot better than I have, but now I have to get my mouth reujusted to my retainers.

FFIV screwed up there, too. You spend most of the game chasing Golbez, then you go a while without knowing who the main villain is, then Zemus/Zeromus come out of nowhere.

But, Zeromus was cool.

But yeah, it's still true and does delude the feeling of that "cool villian" in a game.

I definintely have to agree with Silvershield and what others have said though, a "cool villian" brings an interesting idea.

Here's a fact though!

A villain who's a god and almighty = sucks.
A villain who knows pain, has their weaknesses and shows that = rocks!

Basically an overpowered villain who is just some super / unstopable almighty being in my mind is just completely lame.

I can't really put into words what I'm trying to say here.
But really, a villain who's "human" and just has his "ideas and opinions" that, to him seem good, shows a cool and good villain.

This goes for heros / main characters too.

The ultimate [super FF] cliche', you're some normal guy with some abnormal super power bent on saving the entire world.

This is where I thought the Suikoden series mastered. By the end of the games, you come to realize you've saved, a country, not the world, yet if done correctly it's probably more rewarding.

Again, that's ... really roughly put into words, so sorry.

I concur.

Look at Prime 1 and 2, amazingly beautiful GC games, that still retain an excellent level of gameplay.

OoT itself was great looking for it's time, and also had great gameplay.

There are "some" games that actually do both look good and play well.

I've only seen the first episode, but it really seems like a promising shonen. (Hell, maybe I'll end up liking it more than Naruto ... since, Naruto's luck is just going down.)

But yeah, I'll probably read all of the manga myself to "catch up" then watch episodes, like I did with Naruto.

Question: Is it more violent? (Compared to Naruto-ish-ness animes?)

There's already one GC game scheduled to come here stateside ... if I'm correct, and maybe some of the GBA games? Don't take my word on that though ...

On more news, I've heard that ShoPro only licensed 60 episodes of Naruto. Although that's "somewhat" good to hear, I'm sure in time they'll just keep on aquiring more.

What about <'style type="text/css"'>bla?

Yeah ...

And with all these great animes getting licensed recently (Samurai 7, Samurai Champloo, FMA, Naruto, etc) I'm sure it won't be along until somebody gets this one.

God not FUNimation.

Exactly. So how did they "steal" him? (For the others argueing)

But yes, if you've looked around before, there are N64 images of a "3D FFVI" that Square messed around with, before they decided to go with Sony.

But, besides that ... I don't really care too much. Honsetly right now, I'm looking more forward to the PS3 and "Revolution". But this was a smart move by Microsoft, since it's clearly been seen, they can't make RPG's worth crap.

And this doesn't surprise me, I heard rumors that Square was going to develop games for the next Xbox system, this is almost the same concept.

And it's not like developers are even that exclusive these days.
RE4? You can expect to see that for the PS2 in a couple of months.

I think having a great number of "villains" who are constantly switching sides and stuff was a great idea, but it really only works in a game with that kind of setting.

Completely agreed. Delita was very much like Jowy from Suikoden II.

Yes'm.
Nintendo troubles also caused us to not get "FF2j, FF3j, and FF5j" back in the day.

Check this out . . .

That's pretty slick I'd say.

"But basically GMail Drive acts as any other hard-drive installed on your computer.
You can copy files to and from the GMail Drive folder simply by using drag'n'drop like you're used to with the normal Explorer folders."

Guess I can't argue with that.
