Yeah, basically as Sex Change said, Acmlmboards rape bandwidth.

So you're best off paying for at least something out there.

Bomberman 64 was awesome ...

Sad thing is, everyone told me "omg dude Bomberman Hero pwns it!", so I played it, and I was very sad.

Bomberman 64 was way better. Awesome multiplayer too.

Another one I remember, Red Faction. That game in my opinion is still to this day one of my favorite FPS's ... great music, story, setting; it was like Total Recall in an FPS.

Then, kind of like the Bomberman 64 sequel incident, Red Faction II easily remains as the worst pile of shit FPS I have ever played in my life; in my opinion.

Hmm, well after watching the new exclusive trailers at Gametrailers over this game, I must say, it's kind of surprising.

Some of the cutscenes make it seem almost like you're playing an MGS or something. It just definitely looks quite different from the past RE games.

But am I saying it looks bad? Not a bit, it looks totally badass. ;P

My god I love it already.

Let's just hope they finish it.

Edit: Proper Link: MP2D

Although, does this really qualify as a rom hack? I'm sure it's not a SM hack ...

w00t.

Seems there's still some attention around this forum ...

I saw the first episode myself, different indeed, and yeah, limbs flying left and right. Doesn't sicken me though by much, so I'll probably be watching more.

"nyu"?

Bots, they tend to visit that page (on every acmlmboards I've been, bots visit the calendar).

Very very annoying. I've also noticed they like to "Add threads to their favorites list".

EA fucking sucks.

All their games suck.

Tell me one that didn't.

I swear, I freaking swear, next thing you know, they'll be making their own console, garunteed.

Probably.

I've considered giving that game a try. But their past 5-6 Bond games were utterly horrible.

So yeah, sure their Bond license if fine, but the rest of their games ... ouch.

I read quite a handful of mixed reviews from gamers over at suikosource, I'm still willing to give it a try.

I'm a huge fan of the original two, didn't enjoy III as much because the gameplay (battle system) was horrible.

I'll probably check this game out, but from reading over a lot of reviews and getting more info out of the game, I think I'll hold most of my excitement over for Xenosaga Episode II.

I'm really interested in what Sega might do / say because of this.

It's a fact that for quite some time their ESPN licensed games were selling far better than EA's sport lineups, even when they were selling their games for 20$ a piece. (Sega's, while EA still went for 50$, Sega still accumulated a higher profit.)

Give it back to Sega. =O

Posted on 01-19-05 07:01 AM, in Subs vs Dubs Link
Well I finally voted, Subs.

After only a couple of months of watching basically subs alone, I'm a fan now. Then in going back to watch dubs, I can easily define a great lack of quality in the voice overs and acting; which sometimes degrades the anime down, Crest of the Stars for instance, great anime, but when the characters talk like robots it's not too great.

Subs just seem to provide a better level of emotion, and keep true to the characters.

So yeah, nowadays, I'd rather watch subs. But I wouldn't cry if I was forced to watch some dubs (I have a few friends who won't give up on it), but I will admit there are some good ones out there, Bebop, Rahxehpon, The Twelve Kingdoms, etc.

Let me / us know what you think.

I'm still iffy on it, but it seems like it'll be a physcological thriller, stuff that suits my taste.

Just keep in mind, a good chunk of the first episode is mainly a nude girl slicing limbs off all over.

Well, I just happen to have a MAJOR complaint.

Length.

The game was short. But, overall the experience was nice. It was an innovative game, and I truly enjoyed the artistic style the game took, and the way it played. (Felt similar to a Zelda at times ... for me at least. )

The first was quite good, whether or not the second will be better, Wanda and the Colossus definitely looks like something to look out for. Looking over the screens, again I will say, the style these games take is amazing. ;D

A boycott would be something nice to *dream* about.

I can't remember the last EA game I actually purchased ... think it was Madden 2000, when it was "ah and amazing" when the PS2 first came out. (About 3-4 years ago)
