The graphics aren't too incredible, but this is a port of the DC version. Sometimes you might be lucky enough to play levels from episode 2, but that's only happened to me only a few times.

The controls take a little getting used to, but how can you go wrong? This is free

There's usually about 30-40 people in one of the servers (join the trial one, using the online.offlinepatch.exe).

It's fun, nothing spectacular, but worth a look.

Amen to that also.

Project Snowblind also looks like a very promising FPS. I just dislike how they deny it formally had a relationship to the past Eidos games Deus Ex The Conspiracy and Invisible War, I'm not even sure if they hint that it's "in the same universe" anymore. Regardless from what I've seen it'll still have the basic mechanics of being more of an RPG / FPS, and will have a nice biomod system too it.

Emulation also comes in handy when you wish to play a game, that hasn't even released to your nation. Seiken Densetsu 3? How would I enjoy such a game when I can't even understand it?

Hopefully that act goes into place, although I'll agree with XKeeper I'd rather buy the game, but that's only if I can truly find it. (For the record I forked out 40$ for Megaman X2, and Final Fantasy III ) So I think it would be a good thing considering older games these days are just becoming harder and harder to find.

Systems get overused and played too much also. (Probably being me ...) both of the NES's that I have owned have eventually completely died and now don't work, so now my stack of NES games would almost be pretty much useless, but I could still play these games on the computer. (legally actually, so I just pointed out something pointless ><)

In Halo 2 I have heard Marine NPC's say "F" a few times. That's probably why .... oh boy, horrible language!

I'm assuming you "cut" things in FF:CC? With a sword or something; If so, more than likely there's your Teen rating right there for "Violence".

The rating system is bizarre, luckily now that I'm 17 I really don't have to worry about it anymore, after I turned 17 I went and bought San Andres by myself, and that games like all the Friday movies in one. ^_~

But has anyone checked out the newest trailer? It's good, but:

What I don't exaclty understand is it basically hints that Jenova is still alive. And can revive Sephiroth ... this isn't that much of a spoiler, the trailer nearly says these exact words in it.


I'm just still baffled out how it'll work out to be a "good" 60 minute film, I'd like it to be longer. Regardless, I might just get a fansub myself, the 2nd trailer is in Japanese also and sounds fine.

I don't know where my friend got it, all I know is it's a torrent somewhere, so find out the rest on your own.

I once went in and took about 10 old PSX games that I was hoping to buy to the desk, then the guy noticed I had a few M games in there and didn't let me.

Ugh, it's hilarious watching people who do this. They just look ... stupid.

I used to, when I played games when I was maybe 3-4 years old. But now I don't, if I do it just makes me mess up or something. I don't see how it can be so hard to just relax and allow your hand and controller just sit there.

Another thing, posts are stored in the database entirely different from how they are in 1.8a, much nicer and cleaner. (somewhat , still hell to putting up a database on another server or so)

Overall I'd easily give both games a 10 out of 10.

But personally, I felt Prime 2 wasn't as groundbreaking or cool as the first Prime. I know the graphics were nearly the same, but it still felt a little off in some ways. I also didn't enjoy the music as much. The themes in the game were in no way actually -bad-, I just enjoyed the more up beat tunes in the first Prime.

Prime just seemed to be more of a classic, similar to Super Metroid, yet still very different it just felt like a more completed and more satisfying Metriod game.

Prime gets my vote.

Again, I don't regret ever spending 50$ on Prime 2, it's still a 10 out of 10 game in my book, just ranks under the original.
