| (more than likely getting a DS for christmas) I'd like suggestions on games I should get for the DS and or GBA. I'm mainly asking for GBA suggestions here, as there's not a whole lot of DS games out there yet, I'll more than likely be getting Mario 64x4. But for the GBA, there's a ton, and a ton that I haven't played. Games I am *definently* going to be asking for are: - Zelda: Four Swords (Link to the Past) - Final Fantasy 1 - 2: Dawn of Souls - Final Fantasy III for the DS (when it comes out?) - Yoshi's Island (maybe, good memories) - *maybe* Metroid: Zero Mission, I've already played and beaten it, so maybe. So, suggestions? Please give reasons as to why also, try to persuade me here.  |

| Ah sorry, reading over my original post it's a little sloppy. I actually don't have a GBA or anything, but I'm probably getting a DS, and therefore can play many of the GBA games that I've thought looked cool. Games I have played have been through .. emulation of course. So yeah, I don't have a GBA, so don't own any games for it. Sorry for that. |

(Nintendo fan boys? That's nonsense, start a PSP thread!  )Gamecube - Great first party titles, and many that suck. Games that have kept me interested in this system are Metroid Prime 1, and 2, Super Smash Bros. Melee (why haven't they done another one?), PSO (I guess?), and hopefully the next Zelda game. (Huge disappointments, Wind Waker and Sunshine, ugh) PS2 - All around the largest assortment of games. A ton of great titles such as the Silent Hill series, Onimusha, Metal Gear Solid, Grand Theft Auto, and then of course the PS2 is easily the home to most of the RPG's out there. Playback with the PSX also, which I'm a huge fan of. Xbox - Hardrive, Xbox Live, S-Controller, and some other junk. Also an all around good library of games, and many PC ports. (those of you argueing that's a bad thing, I should slap you for not understanding not everyone out there has the ultimate PC to play many of the newer games out there.) So, overall, I like them all in different ways. I'd vote for all of them if I can, owning all of them I think they're fine systems, and depending on what kind of a gamer you are, you can't go wrong with them. Which do I play the most? That's common sense, the Snes. |

| I'm sure I could beat the game in getting the absolute minimum amount of hearts, since I've been playing it since I was 5. When I play it I pretty much don't think, I just push buttons and next thing you know I'm standing before the Triforce. I guess when I usually run through the game, I just get all heart peices that I can because I like to look at the menu and see to it that I have everything. |

| How different are they? (comparing to the NES titles) I'm a huge MM fan, but I already own the Anniversary Collection for the GC, so would it be worth buying again for the GBA(DS)? (again, I'm aware that there are differences, I just don't know by -how much-) |

| The major thing I hate about the GC, is the Connectivety. Sure, it's dandy for you people out there with GBA's, a Link Cable, GBA version of a linkable game, and GC version of the game, but I don't have all those, so I find it rather annoying when I'm playing a game and I'm wanting to get everything that I can to only find out I'd need to link up to unlock everything. (sorry, dragged out sentence there ;p) |

| Have you tried to reinstall the driver or anything? That's more than likely your problem there. Just go to "Add / Remove Hardware" in the Control Panl and have your computer do a search for new plugged in hardware, hoping that your computer has "Plug In Play?" | It wouldn't make sense to see FFVI done in an "FFX style" mannor ... Yoshitaka Amano did the artwork and character design for FFVI, while Tetosoya (something like that) did FFVIII, and FFX. But then again what do I know, I'm just some weird freak how liked and still likes SNES graphics. |

| Yeah I completely agree with everyone mentioning the GC "does" have a good amount of mature games on it. It's -only- the home to the entire Resident Evil franchise. I never got too into the DC though, I don't know, maybe it's just me. I bought the system last year, for 40$ I got myself 2 controllers, Shemnue, Hydro Thunder, and a memory card along with the system of course. I mean it did have good games, but I've just never really seen the "good" games for sale. I remember seeing Sonic Adventure for like 5$ at Gamestop once, too bad that was "before" I had a DC, I wouldnt' have passed that one up.  I don't know, in no way am I'm saying the "DC wasn't good", I've heard plenty of people acclaim it to be one of the best systems out there, and I will admit it's short life span was somewhat disappointing. More than likely I'm just missing out. I'll have to start looking around for some more games to make me bring out that system again, again the games are dirt cheap. (and yes, I know why, so don't bother explaining it to me) |

| For playing games like Nes, Snes, and old consoles on your computer (via emulation of course) what do you normally use, a Keyboard or a controller? I still haven't tried looking for a good adapter of any kind. My friend recently got one that's for Playstation controllers and it works pretty well. (PS controllers being all around pretty good for any kind of older game), and it supports up to 2 controllers. So I play with the good old keyboard, my setup for Zsnes is: (Y and X might be reversed) B - F A - S Y - D X - A Start - Enter, Select - Space Below ASDF, I use ZXCV for turbo controls.
