Seriously ... I thought FFIV was the only one that deserved another sequel or another game taking place within the same world.

Altogether Square as of late doesn't seem to be impressing me much ... the only games I'm getting excited about coming from them is Final Fantasy 1-2 for the GBA, and the 3 port to the DS. And Final Fantasy 12 does look somewhat pretty good... so far.

And even if that game was pretty good, it doesn't deserve a sequel. No Final Fantasy games deserve one, they are supposed to be STAND ALONE games.

Yeah I agree.

But I'm just saying, the end of FFIV seemed to hint at a possible sequel.

The ONLY Final Fantasy to do that, others are just like ... "Hey let's make this stupid character get captured, turn the girls into sluts, and make them go off on a dancing pop-singing adventure."

Boom. Sequel.

shh shh shh shazzzle.

Dang, I didn't know MP2 was coming out that soon ... Halo 2, and Metroid Prime 2 in the same week ... and also having GTA: San Andres, damn I'm going to have a lot of games to play.

Then November 14th, Half-Life 2.

So many good games are coming out like ... now, in the next week or two.

Good thing it was recently my birthday, as I have plenty of money to get most of these games.

I bought it to complete my PSX FF collection, but I haven't played very much of both games.

FF1 just got a little boring, being so simple, it was still fun though. I got up to the point where you need a raft / boat or something.

FF2 just seemed weird, with the character statistics system ... and having the entire world map open to you at the beginning may sound cool, but not when you wander into some town with Gaurds you can't even touch, while they can do more than a 1,000 damage on your low level characters.

I think for the new Acmlmboards (and the version available by Erk) the *Submit - Back - Submit* trick has been fixed, but I may be incorrect...?

Also I'd say the best way to counter mass-registration issues is to simply include email account verification, which this board now has and I'm assuming the next AB to release will include the feature.

What genre's are there and what fits under what?

I mean yeah I know the basics.

But recently my friends brother has been telling me there's such a thing as "Speed Metal", which bands like Symphony X and Edguy would fit under. Quick, heavy, and symphonic metal. (the best) I could upload a sample song if you're interested in my prediction.

There's also nu metal, stuff like System of a Down and Korn. Which this entire genre in my opinion just sucks the big one. =)

Anyways, any other genre's out there that you know of and what they contain? Any clue on if Speed Metal truly is such a thing?

As far as I know, it's fine if you simply link to your / other forum in your profile, via bio, whatever, and you can have a little link to your site / whatever in your signature. You basically just can't make a thread saying "Go here or Die n00bles!" If you have a link, people will see it, thus, if they're interested they'll click it, if not they won't.

Yeah, I only saw a few episodes. One of them had some guy who destroyed other people's tops because he liked being evil. Then the main character detroyed HIS top, and he started crying. Then the main character and his friends fixed the destroyed top, and the villain became their best friend. Or something.

I've never wanted too see that anime.

Now? I'm scared of seeing it.

There's all sorts of metal sub-genres, like industrial metal, black metal, death metal, doom metal, power metal, metalcore, etc. AMG actually gives fairly good descriptions of them.

Doesn't surprise me that speed metal fits my likings, I'm a pretty big fan of thrash also. I'm not too big on death metal, power metal, and stuff like that, I'd rather be able to hear and understand what's being sung.

Seems like you guys know your stuff ... and Ziff I haven't heard of any of those bands you listed.

Any good speed metal recommendations?
