| I never beat the game but I think I got to last level where you had to climb this giant tower and take out so many of these bat enemies ... But level 8 I think, was insane. A very intense level that pits you racing to the bottom of the level ... while that giant rat (forgot his name) is chasing you and when he touches you ... death. You have to be nearly 100% precise and accuratly the fastest that you can possibly be in this level. My friend and I probably died 50+ times on this level alone. |

| The reason I think Fusion lacked quality and a true essence to the Metroid Saga, is simply because the entire game took place on an artificial metallic world, being a spaceship. The thing I truly enjoyed about most of the other Metroid games, was the simple fact of diving deep down into the crust of a planet. The dark underground environments were just something you didn't see everyday in gaming, a totally underground and interconnected world linked to different parts and areas for you to explore. Maybe it's just me and the game just had to fit it's setting and be a spaceship only game, but I believe that kind of dumbed down the "Metroid" experience. Again, I'm not saying Fusion was bad, I just disliked the setting and environment the game provided. |

I usually use SBC Yahoo's IE Shell, since it's pretty well done, but Firefox is still good stuff. It's Adblock is something I got right after it's release and it hasn't exactly failed me yet.  Image Zoom is also pretty cool. And for boredom, I've gotten a lot of those "Turn of CSS, Turn of Colors, Turn of Links" weird kind of tags.  |

| Feel the love Tarale. I recently upgraded from 256DDR to 768, and I've definently noticed a difference, especially with games like Halo PC. Still, I'm saving up some cheese for my own computer here soon ... I'm going for 1.5gigs of Ram, or around there.  |

| Ram is very important too, 512 is almost becomming a standard now, but if you're wanting to play games like Doom 3, etc, I'd highly recommend you go for at least 768 or 1gig +. And is your ram SDR or DDR? DDR is the better and higher quality stuff that you should definently have, no matter what these times. For a processor, I'd say go for an Anthlon 2400+ if you want something a little cheaper yet still pretty good. Although again, if you're wanting to play these kinds of games at max with no problems what so ever, 3.0ghz+ is good to go. For a graphics card I'd say try getting an ATI Radeon Pro 9800. They're really great and just under the new nVidia GeForce 6400's. But they're a little on the expensive side, still they used to be about 300$ and I'm sure they've gone down a lot now to about 150$ or something around there. So in my opinion, I'm not so sure if it's exactly necessary to completely buy a new system, I've laid out the basics in what you'll need for good gaming, a good amount of Ram, High CPU, and a good Graphics Card, but if you have a crappy sound system, maybe a dirty monitor, or some old crappy mouse or something, go for a new system or something. From that list I'd say a few good ones are: - Mr. Parking Attendant Flashlight Waver - Mr. Tuxedo Shop Tux Renter - Mr. Athletic Groin Protector Inventor And mainly the long ones that just make almost no sense. |

| Has anyone here pre-ordered Half-Life 2 via Steam, and gotten their hands on Counterstrike Source? (Counterstrike using the Half-Life 2 engine, physics, etc. By pre-ordering from the 3 available packages for Half-Life 2 through Steam, you get an early version of Counterstirke Source) As of now there's only 6 available maps, but you can definently tell of a huge difference from this and the original CS. (Which I actually hate). Some of the levels are Aztec, dust2, Italy, and a few more ... Don't worry, they took out the stupid Sheild for the Counter Terrorists. The game to me seems a little more balanced now, and it feels more fair and sometimes easier to kill people ... then again maybe that's just me actually getting good at CS!?  They also took out multiple classes for the 2 sides, so now it's a little easier to tell people apart. So anyone here played this yet? | Not Halo aye? Alright go for Halo 2 next week then. But other than that, the Xbox does have a good amount of games. I'd say if you're a fan of fighting games that revolve heavily around a grapple system, try out one of the Dead or Alive games, and yesterday Dead or Alive: Ultimate released. (Which is a remake of DOA 1 and 2 and provides online play with Live, very nice.) Fable would be a good pick too, but I still reside on the fact that I personally wouldn't pay 50$ for it, it's just way too short for that amount of money I'd say ... but if it get's cheaper anytime soon, I'd say check it out. Ninja Gaiden if you're a fan of action / adventure games, although with this game expect a bitch-challenge. And if you like GTA there is a Double Pack which includes GTA 3 and Vice City, with somewhat upgraded graphics, and the ability to listen to your own soundtracks. (Again, why the HD is so awesome. )That's just a few suggestions for you. |

| I still thought it was pointless that they called it the "Dress System" instead of just the plain "Job System" ... but dressing does go with the games theme I guess. I've played some of this game but I honestly didn't like it very much, the battles were so fast and easy it's not that hard, and the storyline does in fact suck. Not too mention I hate the dancing concert crap.  On top of this, I did not find FFX enjoyable at all, so just think of how I looked at this game. So no, quit, and play something more worthwhile. |

| There was an official SNES-like pad that was released about a month or two ago. But I like yours better, because the official one kept the huge A and tiny B buttons, as well as the X and Y buttons, which just look weird on an SNES shaped pad. I'd like to know how you did this myself ... as I own the LoZ: Collection, Sonic Mega Collection, and the MM Anniversary Collection, playing with a controller like the SNES with these games would make them so much better ... |
