Maybe Nintendo will slip out ...

But, it would be cool if they came back completely fused with Sega.
Old rivals, united! ...

But yeah, I doupt it'll happen.

Here's a rebuttal article, by the way. The site is run by TSA--you know, the guy who did the OoT speed runs (And some others)? I'd say he has as much credibility as anyone else on the Internet in regards to this.

Not exactly sure what the story on Error is, though I've heard that it IS simply just his given name, and it DOES appear in the Japanese version as well. I of course have no way to prove this.

After reading over that site, I've basically lost my interest in this.

Really, I think there would be a lot of hype around this, but the new article joystiq posted about the owner being a member of Silicon Knights just seems to make this a huge cry for attention, or something.

Sounds pretty dumb now.

Hmmm, I really confused myself here ...

I mainly meant to ask, how I would go about putting a rom into a cartridge. Not really build one from scratch, but just putting a rom unto a cartridge if I could.

Don't know if that makes any difference to the situation here or not, but yeah.

Edit: If someone wants to edit this thread title, go ahead. Very misleading, sorry about that. ...

Here is the seller:

Here is a detailed page about the kit:
http://www.tototek.com/pio/main1/SUBMENU/PARTS/LINKS/OS/superflash.htm

It lets you write ROMs to the cart via a parallel port and a special circuit board that comes with the kit. The cart circuit board itself can be placed inside any SNES or SFC cart shell. Since it uses flash RAM chips, you can rewrite games over and over again. Also, the programmer board can be used to dump carts and save games to your PC.

Simply put, that's freaking sweet.

Kind of the easy way out, but hey, that really helps. I'll probably get one and try it out here within the week or so. I'll let you guys know how it goes.

Thanks a lot.

I like what Narf said, kind of.

Xk in my opinion, is not a problem and isn't "the" problem. It's this community, the management, the lack of care to fix things, the way things are dealt with, the way the FAQ has not been rightfully followed for the last few years probably, the way people leave and come back, the way people are "perma"banned and unbanned, the way people complain about the "old days" and can't get over it, and so forth - is the problem.

I've had my fair share of fun here but my posting rate has drastically gone down. Not because of Acmlm, or Xk, or anybody else, but probably because of the way this community is turning out. It's just all getting old, and repetitive.

Maybe I don't have room to speak, but after seeing what HH has said, I think I can throw in something here - the staff. I just can't stand how a lot of the staff handle things (mainly the higher ups), like permabans, and the effort that is put in to prevent these Xk and other incidents that have happened lately seems almost - nonexistant. It's like half the staff think they're mandatory to be on staff and they believe they'll never be taken off of it, yet they hardly do their STAFF jobs. Simply put I just don't like it.

Now a lot of these things have been brought up in the staff forum, but the matter of fact is do you really think things are going to change around here anytime soon? I'd be pretty surprised.

And the recent humor around this place is pretty worthless in my opinion. Maybe it's because I'm a Senior in High School, and work nearly 30 hours a week and hardly have time to see what's really going on here these days, but I just fail to see the humor in a lot of the recent threads, and so on. The name changes have gotten me laughing, because it's funny to see how easily people can get confused, but everything else besides that is just old and repetitive.

We all know my stance on Acmlm, and how (I believe) he doesn't care and thinks he can't take this place back or something even know it's not that hard to see that ||bass hardly cares anymore and has given up, it's the PERFECT chance to do something, for Acmlm to make his move, and he still sits on his throne atop Luther Corp. Shit, if it meant going back to 1.93 for Acmlm to come back, I could careless. DO IT. Get someone back here who will actually code for this place, who actually cares.

But, I don't care. Like I said, I'll be very surprised if this place actually does change. VERY surprised.

I've seen the entire series, the supposedly better ending, and whatnot, and I still don't get what the deal is.

Yeah, the opening theme is awesome, but that's about as good as the show gets in my opinion. I hated ALL of the characters, except maybe the Penquin. The development was just horrible. You here Shinji say "I can't do it, I can't do it!" in the first DVD, and be ready for him to say that on the 8th DVD.

The fact that's its so overated just makes me lose even more interest ...

Meh, whatever. I'm hardly picky when it comes to anime, but I just never saw what was so great in Eva.

(Since everyone is talking about Rahxephon for some reason, even though they're quite different, Rahxephon is actually good).

Edit: just incase someones head explodes, hold it. Just my opinion.

I finally beat this game.

8 something hours.

I'm getting into Julius Mode now. Mind me asking though, do you get more characters in Julius mode besides the girl?

And are the rumors true about Alucard?

Anyways, I don't think this game beats SoTN, but it's up there. SoTN to me felt more diverse, and the level layout just seemed more original, while as DoS was just kind of a "keep going and killing things", and there wasn't really any exploration needed (like others said).

Still though, a great game, and definitely worth picking a DS up for. The music was incredible, the storyline was great, and the game just rocked hard, like all Castlevania games.
