If Capcom wouldn't have released MMAC here in the states, I wouldn't have allowed them to even see this day.

Yeah, for some reason I just lose interest around then and quit. I've been near the end several times.

Although I agree it has it's slower moments, once you get past them the game is incredible.

I've also heard that one before, I really don't know what it is that makes the "Playing as Lynx" part in the game so boring to some people, heck I thought Lynx was cooler than Serge.

If Sony of America approves it, because it would, it would fall on Capcom for distribution. Not Sony.

Sony and Nintendo have different systems of distribution.

I don't think there was anything mentioned about Nintendo ...

Well from what I saw of the movie, it seemed like it had a cool concept, just a little far fetched and 'weird' (like all of a sudden, the girl appears in a whole new world).

Then again, I only saw about a 1/4th of the movie. Waking up at 6:00 AM that day, then going in to work an 11 hour shift, and then trying to stay up until 1:00 AM to watch a movie, just wasn't possible.

I swear, was Naruto's voice the same person who does Gohan's voice ...?

I could not stand it at all. I lost interest in a few minutes, and turned it off to play Yoshi's Island.

Meh. Really I thought it was just pretty bad, but on top of that, I've gotten pretty picky over the last couple of years and recently ... sometimes, just because it's dubbed, I don't even put effort into trying to watch an anime. It's just hard to keep interest, even if it's a great series.

That was a disappointing part, really I was hoping to see more of a story revolved around Magus -somehow-.

That, and a handful of the characters seemed kind of useless / pointless. The dog at the beginning? Sure, it was useful then, but after that who really stuck with it? ...

And so on.

Thing is:
1. Do Funcoland's even still exist? (haven't they become Gamestop's, or is that just some areas?)
2. It's been a very long time since I've seen a Gamestop that sells anything older than N64 and PSX games, sadly.

Yeah, I have to buy all of my classic games at local state stores, or pawn shops and so on.

That, is freaking, incredible.

On a side note: I can't wait until the release of Episode III.

I thought this might be an interesting thread, and would make a good sticky, so ...

As the thread title suggests, this thread is for showing off your videogame collections, if you have one or whatever.

Right now ... mine has grown into quite a little nice library (especially since I've had my job over the beginning of the summer).

My Collection - As it currently stands.

Yeah, it's gotten to the point where I'm buying at least one game every week or two. But come this weekend, I plan on spending maybe $100-$150. Crazy!? Well I mean heck, this old collectors store is having a %25 percent off sale for used videogames, so I plan on taking advantage of the offer and buying Secret of Mana, and a handful of games (probably SNES ) and just whatever other goods I happen to buy.

But yeah, it's gotten bad. I've been buying so many games, I haven't gotten around to beating a lot. Games I'm still kind of currently playing at random and still am playing to beat are: Killzone, Metal Gear Solid 3, Sonic Gems, Resident Evil Zero, Yoshi's Island, Wanderer from Y's III, Serious Sam, and Rush 2049. Yikes

But hey, I've still got a ton of money saved up and everything, I've only been taking out about 30-40% of my pay-checks, so yeah.

It's sad because I used to have like 30+ N64 games at one time, but when the PS2 came out, I sold like every game I had. I -really- regret that, especially when I dished out games like Bomberman 64, Blast Corps, Cruisin' USA, etc.

And on a side note: I DO NOT sell games anymore these days, unless they don't work on my consoles or something (like Growlancer Generations).

And sense there might be people out there thinking "Man Xeogred is like Xeolame-age", well here, and here. Those are kind of old though. I'll probably take some new pictures here soon.

Anyways, how's your collection?

Ouch, super overkill.

The most expensive SNES games I usually see around here are like, Secret of Mana (usually $50), and a few others. I saw Earthbound yesterday for $80 though.

I actually thought Zero Wing was pretty decent.

R-Type is a great series, but I personally favor the Gradius series over it. Just the flow of the game, the gameplay with powerups and everything, and the music seems better.

The Turrican series has also been one of my long time favorites since the arcades, and earlier consoles.

If you haven't played any of the R-Type games, I'd recommend you check out R-Type 3 for the SNES, way better than Super R-Type (which was like a poor port of R-Type 2).

But like I said, I think the Gradius games are a little better. Gradius III is freaking incredible.

The Thunder Force series (for the Genesis) is also very good, just extremely hard ...
