I hate to break the "offline" thread of discussion, but World of Warcraft is really the must see gaming event of the year. It really is too good to miss.

Another fan besides myself and NSNick?

Deus Ex is by far one of the greatest games on our green Earth. It's a cyberpunk, futuristic, dark urban set game, with some of the coolest FPS / RPG elements ever, and by far has one of the most interactive worlds (you can find books and newspapers laying around the ground, and there is a ton of realistic and cool text to read in them), topped off with one of the best dark / trance / cyberish soundtracks, with one of the best storyline's ever. My first playthrough was a good 20 hours or so. The game is so compelling and awesome, I have gone back to beat it at least 5-6 times. It's very cause and effect also, your decisions can effect the output of the game.

Yeah, it's a fun game.

Just don't complain about the graphics, like the many others do ...

That, and System Shock 2, if you can find it. I've been meaning to find the game myself. Some people even consider it to be better than Deus Ex ... it's another Warren Inspector developed game, with the same FPS / RPG style to it. Only, I'm pretty sure it's more of a thriller (horror), and from what I played from the demo, it's much more cyberpunk (like BladeRunner stuff here) than Deus Ex.

Truly, I'd say these two games can pass as RPG's.

I guess I'd recommend the Never Winter Nights games also, I've heard some good stuff about them, just haven't played them myself.
The campaign editor is pretty insane though.

I slacked, and didn't care to take a Science class this year ... actually, I've slacked off a lot.

1. Algebra 3 / Trig
2. Accounting
3. American Government
4. Game Design
5. [game design is 2 hours]
6. College Prep English IV
7. Work release, in other words, I do not have a 7th hour class. I get out early.

Yeah, that's my Senior year.

... too easy.

But yeah, I'm not one who really cares to be in advanced classes or anything, meh.

How's the TV series?

I've seen the OVA, and enjoyed every minute of it. Although different ... it was still good and humerous, and I liked the whole Beethoven-symphony plot behind the villain.

Ouch, that kind of a team is simply annoying to think about!

Not as annoying as the Capcom team ... say, Jill, Tron, and Roll. Ugh.

Servebot is stupidly lame also in my opinion, really I think the only good Megaman character in MvC2 was Megaman himself, other than that, the rest of those character just piss you off (same with Jill).

I'm still a little confused on this. I just wonder how successful it'll be, hearing that people in the East don't really prefer FPS's ...

That's a cool idea. It'd still be fitting with the Zelda series.

Much more so than, say, Legend of Zelda Party.

If such thing becomes truth, Xeo's faith in Nintendo will thereforth only stand on Metroid.
(in other words, I'd be pissed)

Also, if we end up seeing Link hunt down ghosts, or walk around with a big water gun attached to his back, I will still be pissed.

On a serious note: It would definitely be interesting to see a next generation Zelda II styled game, or heck (and this will never come true), how about a huge overhead Zelda game again?

But yeah, this kind of news is pretty unexpecting ... but, Nintendo has been known to say some weird stuff. Last year, they hated the idea of online play, now they claim they've always backed it up.

I'm not trying to start an arguement, because I in fact and have, always been behind Nintendo, ever since people were walking around the streets whining "They should have switched to CD's like the Playstation!", but really, who can say this will really be the final Zelda game?

Spanish is a breeze for me. No studying, no effort, I just get it.
English is really easy too, I understand grammar rules, am a great speller, and I enjoy reading.
History is easy enough (usually) and interesting (sometimes), I can almost always pull an A in it.
Math and science... there goes my GPA.

It just really depends on the person I guess, I almost failed Spanish.

English is a joke. The only challenge I see in such classes are the actual work, and just getting them done (like papers and stuff), so it's a matter of "If you do it" and not really "difficult", in my opinion.

Wood shop was definitely one of the easiest classes I've ever taken, fun too.

The easiest class ever though, would easily be Keyboarding. I mean ... you type, you just type.

Really though, it always depends on the teacher. Luckily, all of my History teachers have been a breeze. Last year in American Government, I never -once- read any of the chapters that we were supposed to read, and still pulled a B-A throughout the entire year.

My American Government teacher however ... seems different, I completely bombed a test today.

Math is just like English in my opinion. It's so repetitive, I don't see how it can be hard, other than the fact of just getting the work done.

Honestly, it doesn't sound like that bad of an idea, but I don't see why such topics couldn't go in General, or maybe even Crazy? (many science topics have been brought up before in General, and were pretty popular).

Blunt Fact: It simply will not be added.

XD ... dude ... *nailed*

Crest of the Stars definitely does have some of the worst dubbing ever, it's a shame too because it's truly a great series.

My friend wants me to go over to his house this weekend to watch the premiere or something. Yeah, none of us really care or are that excited, but it's just going to be one of those things "We know we're going to see".

The simple trailer seen on Adult Swim for this series (or the movie) has really compelled me to check out this anime. Simply put, it just looked really good.

So yeah, I know I can just give it a google or check it out at the animenewsnetwork, but I thought I'd just get user based opinions here.

What exactly is the story / plot about?
Are the movie and the series both very good?
And from what I saw, there were Mech's ... and swords and stuff, so is it set in kind of a hybird setting?

So yeah, I'm basically just asking you guys if I should just simply check this anime out, because it really looked good, and from what I've heard in the past, it is.

(It kind of reminded me of Lodoss War, a bit)

That's honestly not a very good picture of Morgan ...

They're both fine in my opinion. Funny fact, Sarah Lane looked 10 years older on the old Screensavors, before she died her hair and everything.

In the realm of the G4 divas though ... I still think Tina Wood is the best looker:

Looks cool, but like Adamant said, I wouldn't be surprised if we [the US] never see this.

Same here, definitely looking forward to that one.

I'm interested in seeing your info / sources Kario, because as far as I know, hardly -any- kind of remote piece of information has been announced for Mario 128.

FF1 is more about killing what you can handle than levelling like crazy and killing everything.

I'm assuming you're talking about the original?

Because from what I've played, you'd have to NOT fight in Final Fantasy I to prevent yourself from leveling up so much, without even trying too. (Dawn of Souls)

Seriously, I can't remember how many times I leveled up at Chaos's castle, but it just seemed like overload.

It looked "alright", but after randomely spending $50 on say, Growlancer awhile back, I don't think I'll be going out again and purchasing an RPG I know hardly anything about ...

Ah, you got the goofy looking SNES.

Really, if I were you I'd just save a good $30-$40 and look for a real, older model SNES. Besides that, I'm pretty sure that SNES you have doesn't even have an RF adapter slot in the back (or was it missing a video / audio output instead? I know it was one of those).

So yeah, try to find one of these babies:

Assuming you have this:

Just do it. Because the SNES is god's right hand.
