| I just recently beat Super Mario RPG again. I felt like tearing when I beat the game and the credits rolled. Just a great game I played a lot back in the day, brought back memories and everything. My only complaint: The game is by far WAY too easy, and it seems rather short, and level 30 being max? Meh, at least it's one of the few RPG's out there with fun minigames. |

| I think you mixed up the point of my post Ziff. I was saying, it would be BAD to allow kids to play such games, that are going to look so realistic and can be realistically gruesome. It could bring them nightmare's, and so on. Sure, I grew up playing Doom when I was 5, but videogames are in a whole new age these days. Back then you could look at those 2D sprites and say "Man, that's so fake" for people who had common sense. But now, with games these days we're saying the opposite. And that, could be bad for kids. | Trust me, work has started on 2.0, I've seen it, Argos has, and others (surprised you haven't Kasumi ). And as far as I've seen and heard, yes v2.0 will be very different and fresh. I wouldn't be so critical about it like that Elric, but that's me. It seems like the 1.Xx series are mainly tests, fresh ideas and concepts, and bug fixing. Once this has all finally been settled down, then several of these things would probably ultimately be converted over to a real and serious 2.0. Although your point is valid and does make sense, first put the real v2.0, then build upon it. I just think ||bass, Kasumi, and others want a lot of time put into this, to make sure 2.0 is done beyond standards, and is setup nicely, and everything. Just my guess though. | Music, as in like real stuff, done in metal, orchestrated, whatnot. (I figured this would be better here than Entertainment) I'm still waiting to here Metal versions of Blaster Master themes. That would just be beyond awesome. *thinks of the Ice Level theme, Level 6 done in Power Metal fashion ... shivers* They've already done it with Metroid, via Metroid Metal. Same goes for F-Zero, and Gradius games. Just those types of games with upbeat fast paced music, I think would be awesome in metal. Megaman has kind of been done by some small group, known as Project X2 or something, but the quality of their stuff is really bad (does not compare to Metroid Metal at all). I'd link to their site, but I can't find it. Links are welcome too, because I'm sure I haven't seen all the music-videogame sites out there. Trust me, this show, along with like the Megaman show, and a few special other ones hold special moments in my childhood. I loved this show so much because it was serious, and it also tied in several times to Sonic CD, one of the greatest games ever in my opinion. It's just one of those things though, it bugs me so much I can't stand it. See, like you Grey, I loved this show dearly, but the thing is I can HARDLY remember any of it.  I've never found anything myself personally, yet. I'll talk to my torrent-happy friend about it and maybe see if he knows of anything. I'd like to see this just as much as you probably. (heh, my "torrent-happy friend" just recently got all 3 Seasons of Beast Wars. That show, also totally ruled back in the day) As for Power Rangers, you should post the petition. (I lost the link )Edit: I mean, look at it this way. This show reminds me of Sonic CD by so much, it's incredible, I almost link the two for some reason. And how much do I like Sonic CD? I'm buying a FreeLoader for my GCN, so I can get the Japanese version of Sonic Gems to play Sonic CD with the Japanese Soundtrack, then I plan on buying the US version of Sonic Gems also to hear what I used to play with the US soundtrack, when I had my Sega CD. Really I loved S3&K, but I truly liked Sonic CD so much more. |
- CD soundtrack - So many different versions of the levels - A good 3D bonus stage - Introduced Metal Sonic - Sonic was ALONE! And so much more. I'm not argueing, just my opinion.  And please link to the scans when you find them! Was this show based off of a comic / manga maybe? (PS: Yeah, that other Sonic cartoon was horrible.
