That should help.  So yeah, wrong forum. Basically, you'll need to know how to read data, maybe disemble bits of code for games, you'll need to be good at making and editing sprites, knowing HEX, being able to program if you want to do something major, and TIME is the most important thing when coming to Rom Hacking. So yeah, truly "Rom Hacking" is a pretty broad term. There's a lot of things you can do, a graphics hack, text hack, make an editor, ASM tricks, and so on. I'd say just mess with a bit of everything at first, and see what you enjoy doing the most, and from there start focusing on that. (edited by Xeolord on 07-26-05 08:23 PM)

You could have a giant Driving Instructor who sounds like John Madden and will yell at you during all the simple seconds of your drive, and then force you to go to the nearest Gas Station so he can buy a Pepsi, and the kind of Peanuts you'd buy at a Baseball game, then put the Peanuts in the Pepsi to create one of the worst smells you will ever smell in your life everytime that bottle is opened.
