1. Message friends
2. Check boards
3. Check GameFAQ's for games I'm currently playing, sometimes
4. Check Gametrailers, then IGN, Gamespy, RPGfan, and RPGamer, sometimes
5. Download videogame mp3's, music, torrents, etc
6. Not 4chan
7. Naughty things

In a nutshell, that's it.

I did basically what TheGreatWhiteDope said, instead of inputting that into the SQL, put in:

CREATE TABLE `actionlog` (
`id` mediumint( 9 ) NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT ,
`atime` varchar( 15 ) NOT NULL default '',
`adesc` mediumtext NOT NULL ,
`aip` text NOT NULL ,
PRIMARY KEY ( `id` )
)

That should work. Hopefully it's not a big deal if you leave that other part out.

Family Guy joke ...

Peter and Louis eventually went into Mel Gibson's hotel, then they found a secret room that was a mini theater and had "Passion of the Christ: Crucify This!, Directed by Mel Gibson" in the projector. So they played it, and it was basically Jesus with guns, teamed up with Chris Tucker in recent time.

You're probably not laughing, because reading that doesn't seem funny. Just one of those things you have to see.

It'll be better than Doom 3, surely.

I can say however, my "look" on games has changed.

I played Link to the Past a lot when I was young, about 5-7 years old. Thing is though, I never owned it (up until a few years ago). I'd always rent the game and have to start over from the beginning.

But it was weird, when I'd play the game, I felt like I was in this huge gigantic world that went on forever, and I almost felt like I was there.

Random, but yeah, I just felt like saying that.

Yeah, I've heard multiple people say it's the best SRPG out there.

I just wish it was easier to find, and possibly cheaper.

Whenever I see it it's usually going for $40 or more, at local stores. Yeah, I'm sure it's worth it, but usually rare SNES games catch my eye and my money goes to that.

Simply put, do you work? And if yes then, what do you do?

I thought this might be an interesting topic, I'm kind of curious to see what other people here with jobs do:

As for myself, I am a Curtosey Tech at Jiffy Lube, which is an Oil Changing place for cars in the US. We also deal with AC's, Radiators, Tire Rotations, mostly all of the fluids, lights, and so on. I've been working there for almost 2 months now.

What I do as a Curt Tech:

  • Wash windows with washer fluid (spraying on the windows with a spray bottle, and then whipe it down with papertowell-like stuff).
  • Vacuum the insides of cars.
  • Make sure cars get a sticker inside of the car, that shows when they need to make another Oil-Change pit stop. This usually consists of getting in the car, and turning the car into the "On Position" to get the mileage, since you write down their mileage with 3,000 miles added to it, and 3 months from the current date for the sticker, telling them when they need to be back, by mileage or date. If that makes sense?
  • Greet customers: This, gets old. We give out folders with the vehicle owners personal information (such as phone number, etc. so we can contact them), and dates of services they've gotten. When they DON'T have these, you have to get: The year of the car, maker, model, type of oil that they want (there's different kinds for different ammount of mileage and so on), name, number, location, zip, current date, current mileage, then check the boxes of the services they want. Sounds easy, but when you do 60 cars a day, it gets old.
  • Driving cars in and out of the bays. We have 3 bays at my Jiffy Lube. Picture a 3-car garage, where you can drive in it, and out of it. That's basically the bays. Where I spend my hours. And you have to use "Bay Calls" (yelling certain things) when driving cars, moving them, and starting them up (starting a car up with no oil in it, is obviously bad).
  • Tire rotations: This is annoying. You have to setup the car correctly in the bay, put bumpers under it, raise it from the ground by a machine that we have, drill off the tires (with the correct matching tire scew size), switch them, put the caps back on, drill the caps back on, tighten them down with a special tool, lower the machine, move the bumpers. It's annoying.
  • Other things: Taking out the trash, making sure the lobby is clean, spraying down in-ground towers that have all the types of oil (the hoses, to keep the place clean). Mop up spills if needed, going down stairs to bring up air filters and oil canisters, and so on.

Really, my jobs not that bad, even though I made it sound "quite" annoying, it's just that the 8-10 hour shifts get old. I also hate having to work in the weather, here in KS, humidity is a major issue, so it gets pretty hot, and we do have to wear special uniforms that aren't really "fitting".

I can say my pay is quite good though, and makes me feel better about the job. Here in the US minimum wage is pretty low, $5.75 I believe? I make a few more $'s than that, so it's all good pay wise.

I hate my Customer Service Adviser (CSA). He, is constantly yelling at myself and others, telling us what to do, and calling us things like "Tiger", "Skooter", and so on. And he's just annoying to look out.

My Assistant Manager, is pretty annoying too. Thinking he's hilariously funny, and knows everything, he always keeps me way after closing, and makes me clean the basement (the section where employee's get into to work under the cars), which is something I shouldn't be doing.

My other Assistant Manager, whom I usually close with on the weekdays, is cool though. He's also said "Once you can show me you can do curts quickly, I'll teach you how to work on the hood", which is working with the Oil Changing, and easier things (seriously, Curtosey Tech's get it like the worst).

I've also gotten hints that I could be getting a 50 cent raise soon, so that's also refreshing to here.

My job is decent. For a first job, I'm not complaining at all, and I have decided I probably will stick with it even after I turn 18 (being 18 opens more opportunities, but by then I may be doing other things than Curtosies). But, it's not always easy. It's muggy, there's annoying people I have to listen too, and things get repetitive and it is hard work (I serioulsy think I've bulked up a bit since I've started working there).

So please, next time you get an Oil Change, show the people some love and respect.

So, how's your "jorb", if you have one?

(I didn't mean to make this an Epic Tale)

Edit: On a side note, it took me over a year to finally find a job.

Usually Gamestop.

Maybe I should try EB Games? They had Tales of Symphonia for $20 (which I thought was a great deal ...?)
