Super Jacket 4tehwin.

Gah, it makes you nigh-invincible, but it's just so not worth it!

Culex Charm
Lazy Shell Armor
Lazy Shell Weapon

w00t

I think I'm going to buy that game soon, it's selling for a mere $25 at a pawn shop around here and I'll have plenty of money soon.
(I used to own it, but sold it long ago when I was young and stupid)

You should have played Halo PC.

Banshee's also had the secondary Plasma Launcher attack that could kill you in one hit on impact, they were probably twice as strong compared to Halo 2's, and well it's based off of Halo, no lock-on ability with rocket launchers.

Pain in the ass.

I'm sure I'll be able to play Colleen today, once he gets the time (I'm staying home somewhat sick, so ... I've got nothing to do basically).

Yeah, I'm packing my bags to head towards the losing bracket.

Thanks for clearing that stuff up, Clockworkz and Grey.

Megaman 7 is the only Megaman game besides X7 and X8 I haven't beaten, now I feel ... more complete.

... I guess?

Okay good, he's on AIM now.

Ive always found overworld editing easier than dungeon editing but from your pictures it looks like yours will be great.

I might have that demo laying around ... that, or I was one of your testers if you had one? (MasterSephiroth?)

It was good NEON, but yeah, I can't force you to go back to your Z3 hack or anything.

As for your hack SePH, I can't put into words how impressed I am. This is looking so good it looks like a real game, like it would be Link to the Past 2 or something, with the new menu, and things like that.

Keep up the work SePH, I'm highly anticipating your hacks release.

I seriously probably would have won, but I was ... just not thinking and literally gave Colleen a 3w.

After that it just went downhill for me.

I'm totally going emo now.

No, I don't think he means it's bumped up. I think he means the little "NEW" picture reappears.

Which seems like a good idea, for those of us that use Mark Forum Read. Which I don't, but it still seems good...

Guess I jumped the gun on this thread ...

"That" actually doesn't seem like a bad idea, or maybe we could even make a new image that would show "Edit" or something? (where the "New" image is shown) ... Eh? I guess.

But yeah, that's not a bad idea now that I know what it is.

Knowing you, I fear this situation (at least I think you have a broad dictionary to yourself, and know a lot of words ).

Oh well, I've gotten better. At least I think I have.

It's just part of that "growing up" thing, I too am going through this.

But in your situation, it seriously doesn't sound that complicated ... I mean, you'll be working somewhat with your dad? I'm sure that means he can help pitch in for "requests" that you may have, and what have you.

And also you're homeschooled, I don't know how hard homeschooling is, but homeschooling or not there's still plenty of time to do things after school.

Besides, you probably won't work constantly everyday or something because of your age, unless you want that? Most people between 14-17 who have job end up getting labled as "Part Time Employee's".

So, I'd say don't worry about it ... sure, you'll be losing some "fun time" but you'll be making money in it's place.

Posted on 07-04-05 07:15 AM, in Which Metroid game was the best ? Link
My order:

Super Metroid - Easily stands out the most. You returned to Zebes, the world was breathtaking, the music was incredible, the game was huge. Easily one of my favorite games of all time next to Link to the Past.

Metroid - It's a classic. Very innovative for it's time.

Metroid Prime - Breathtaking. This game gave me that feeling like I was 8 years old, playing an old game ... it felt great.

Metroid Prime 2 - Take Metroid Prime, and make it even harder, and make the environments even more detailed

And I honestly didn't think Zero Mission was as bad as everyone says, it was good, but yeah, it's not better than the original ... duh?

Fusion was kind of bad in my opinion, just way too linear and easy.

Metroid II was just ... different, not bad though, but it had a weird feel to it.

That about sums it up, even though there's not a ton of Metroid games, the ones that are good, and incredible masterpeices.

Don't mind me asking, but what happens when you beat Metroid Prime 2 with 100%?

I'm pretty sure I got around like 98% and needed one missile tank, I've only beaten that game once though. I don't know, it just didn't grasp me as much as Prime did, which I've beaten about 4-5 times (mostly on Hard Mode because it's more fun).

The composer was, and no I'm not joking, Tommy Talarico (from G4, host of Judgement Day and that other show).

Yeah, those games definitely had some good music, especially the 2nd one (first level theme was great, the SNES versions were far superior to the Genesis one though, music wise).

Great stuff, there's a few good OC remix's for the Earthworm Jim games too over at ocremix.org
