Aside from the glitched tiles, that is awesome.

I should really play Super Metroid, I've never played it but this hack may just get me to do so

Yeah, I mean it's only one of the greatest games ever.

Like my title says, this game has me.

Luckily I found it for $20, when at other stores I'm still seeing it go for $40 or more.

But yeah, I just met Magnius and saved this shop keepers mother from being executed. So far, I'm really enjoying this game. It seems to have an interesting story that I'm sure will take some changes (it just seems too obvious), the music is great, the setting is awesome, and the gameplay just kicks ass.

The humor is enjoyable too, and I can honestly say the voice overs aren't that bad (and I'm usually critical on those). Collette's is somewhat annoying though ...

So, has anyone else played this game before? I've seen people say that they've beaten it like 3 times, and that the game can be well over 70 hours ... so, finally I've got my hands on a new "long" RPG.

Yeah I've noticed I've been missing out on a lot of items and stuff. In the Fire Cave I missed a few rooms and well, couldn't go back. Same with one of the Ranch bases.

At least I'm a leveler and enjoy leveling my characters, just hopefully I haven't missed out on any kind of important items, weapons, or whatever.

As for sicknesses, I hardly get sick, but when I do, it's hell.

When I get actually sick, I usually get a fever, strep throat, a cold, and a bunch of things at once and it usually lasts for about 3 days to a week, it's horrible. This usually happens about once a year.

I also have stomach issues, even though I'm 5"7, 125lbs, my diet is absolutely horrible, and that's caused olsores. I was put on acid reflex medicine for awhile, but that didn't really help at all, so now I mainly just "try" again, I try to keep healthier than I used to be a few years ago, but that's hardly the case.

One thing I don't do anymore is drink dark soda reguarly, supposedly the acid in them is really bad for my stomach, so it's suggested I stick to things like Sprite, and other things like that. So, dark soda like Dr. Pepper and such is just an occasional thing for me now.

But yeah, I guess I'm immune to food and getting bigger. I can eat so much for my size, and it doesn't effect me physically or anything. Seriously, I eat horribly.

I'm sure I'm not the only one that has a small meal at midnight during the summer.

Usually I just have a bowl of cereal, poptarts, or something like that. I hardly ever actually cook something unless I'm hungry for something hot.

So yeah, who here eats at night like it's a 4th meal? I know I do.

I hate mowing the yard.

Wouldn't that be considered "cleaning" a bit?

I mean, last summer my dad actually paid me to mow the lawn, and we lived in a smaller house. Now we moved, and we have this gigantic lawn that seems to go on endlessly on the side (we're on the corner of a busy street), and I don't get paid anymore, and all of a sudden I have to mow the lawn almost every week now.

My dad said if I didn't get a job I'd have to do all this crap, well that's the thing, I have a job and I'm still getting forced to do this.

Ugh. -.-

You don't have to feel sad to be depressed, but your mind just decides to go somewhere else for a while, it just runs away from a bad situation because maybe you're not used to bad situations, or perhaps you're too used to them and need a change of mind...

And so, you end up trying to do stuff, like work on homework or vacuum, or stuff like that, and you just don't do it, you're pretty much idle, thinking only of all the things you have to do, but you get distracted easily and subconsciously avoid working on these things. Before you know it, you haven't done anything, just opened a bag of chips, watched a little TV, went on the computer briefly, sat back down at the TV, went to sleep, etc...

The remedy is to eat more chocolate, or get some prozac :O

EDIT: Oh yes, and also, lie down if you see you keep getting distracted, try to re-focus!

That's probably all it was, depression.
In the last couple of years I've gone through a lot of stuff, my parents almost divorced and for awhile I was living in an apartment with my mom, and a small house with my dad. Before this we had a nice big house, and I hated leaving it. Then they got back together, and finally after a year we moved out of my dads small house into the current house I live in, which is nice. But, I've lived in about 8-10 homes, no exageration. So ... no, I absolutely hate moving. I think that should seriously say how much I hate moving into a new home, we were moving from a small place that was one floor, to a new home that has 3 floors and is much bigger, and yet I still had a bad time that week when we were doing it.

But there's all these other little things that have built up that have made me angry, stressed, and depressed that seemed to come out that day, when I laid there in the bed I just couldn't get my mind focused off of the "bad" things that have happened to me.

So yeah, I guess it was just a sudden strike of depression or something. Hopefully it doesn't happen again, I get pissed off at myself when I lose motivation ...

Yeah, it just wasn't his best. Still, I'd say it's worth seeing.

Funny though, there are some moments in this movie that reminded me of Jurassic Park.

But honestly this movie is pretty suspenseful, and scary, at least I thought it was.

I just wouldn't know what I'd do if something like this really happened.

This should not be a poll.

Seriously, you're missing like 489234293 RPG's.

Anyways, my personal favorites are Suikoden II, Suikoden, Breath of Fire IV, Xenogears, Vagrant Story, Final Fantasy VI, Final Fantasy IV, Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, Tales of Phantasia, Seiken Densetsu 3, Secret of Mana, Secret of Evermore, and maybe a few more.

Wish I could vote for Other 500 times.

I seriously don't think it was anything "horrible" but ... (the ending).

Spoiler:
If the aliens would have planted those machines, wouldn't those aliens have died quickly themselves? So many years of studying, yet they didn't study the atmosphere. Yeah ... I'd like that explained.

Other than that the movie was pretty good I thought.

Well if you want a single answer from me, I'd have to say Suikoden II.

Best character development ever.

The battle system was pretty basic though, that would be my only complaint about the game. Not really a complaint though, it was fun fighting, but it could have been more flexible.

That's happened to me, well kind of ... since I was the one who saved over my friends file.

Man it was horrible, my friend had about 40 hours on his game that he was working on for the PSX RPG Maker, and we traded off and when it came time for me to save, I saved over his file, right in front of him. I just wasn't thinking.

You should have seen the look on his face. We sat there for like 10 minutes.

As for bad moments in videogaming, I can't really say. There really hasn't been any bad times for me.

However, if emulation counts on the other hand ... it sucked when we got our new computer about 5 years ago, all my dad did was toss the old one which had a bunch of NES, Genesis, and SNES beaten files, tons of RPG's too. So yeah, that kind of sucked.

I have to say, this Mark guy and I seem to think alike.

An interesting article with reviewers comparing and contrasting Halo agains't Halo 2 and vice versa, and I think they hit some nice critical points.

I can agree with a lot of what Mark says. I played Halo for 3 years, time and time again a bunch of friends of mine and myself, would all get together to LAN it up with Halo. We've done that only a few times with Halo 2, hardly ever these days.

I'm not saying Halo 2 is anything bad, and I don't want to sound like a whiny fanboy just saying "Halo 2 sucks the 1st is so much better", but seriously, if I had to pick from one of them, I'd easily pick the first one over the 2nd.

If you're a fan of the games, or hate them, or think ones better than the other, the article will probably interest you.
