Well, for some reason I just noticed a few days ago during startup F8 does NOT bring up the Start Up Mode menu like it usually would, instead it takes me to a Boot Menu for my drivers. F12 takes me to a Networking Boot Menu, and Tab goes to Logo ... which does absolutely nothing.

So, is there another way I could start up Windows in safe-mode?

Our computers been a little messed up ever since we installed a new Processor, Motherboard, and Powersupply. Our computer really has improved on it's speed, but during start up it still displays our Athlon 1800 Processor, while we really have a 2400 one installed. I've checked the drivers myself, and don't know why it's doing that.

TO be entirely honest, someone's gonna ask for the FFL games and Mystic Quest to be included...

Xeo: FFIV was simply too damn linear. That's the main problem with it that I can see. FFVIII was, once you understood the Junctioning, far too easy. 126 Vit, 50-70 Str, almost 4k HP... yeah, Squall was almost stronger than Edea, alone.

Well that's not my point. I've heard too many times that "FFIV sucks" or "FFVIII just sucks". Sure IV was linear, but it was still fun. And the same goes for FFVIII even if it was one of the easiest RPG's ever it was still a "good game".

Did you read my post?

In the startup menu it specifically says:
F8 - Boot Menu

I push F8, not repeatedly, but nicely once. Then it takes me to a screen where I choose which driver I want to boot up first. It's pointless.

So, F8 does not work, like I said.

I'll look into editing boot.ini I guess ...

And I don't plan on reinstalling anything, this is our family computer and my dad won't even allow me to reformat it.

In the mind of Xeogred's tastebuds:
Ketchup + Anything = YUCK
Ketchup + Nothing = YUCK

Seriously, I've hated ketchup since I was a kid. So many people bug me about it, "Try it again, try it again. Maybe you'll like it now".

Out of the 138948429233 times I've retried ketchup, I still hate it. =[

I'm glad I don't go to your school then.

You walk around my school and all you really hear in the hallways is "He got fucking owned!"

No seriously, my school is ultimately nerdy.

Edit: Just to agree with a lot of others, I too do NOT find Paris attractive.

I'm not much of a fan for joysticks, honestly. I'd probably take the keyboard over a joystick.

A keyboard for just regular games and emulation on the other hand, gets a little old. It doesn't make the game any harder or anything, but my arms just get a little tired from it afterawhile.

Soon I plan on buying a USB adapter for PSX controllers so I can use those. My friend has one that supports two controllers, and it was like $8.

I like it, and I might stick with it for awhile.

The main thing I like about it is basically what ||bass was getting all excited about, the User Tracker at the bottom, it's just a nifty little thing that's pretty nice.

Well that's not good news ... at least it finds our new RAM correctly.

Well I'll have to look into this when I get back from work today, hopefully I can fix it. I've mainly just been wanting to run Adaware, Spybot, and HiJack this in Safe-Mode because I never have. Our computer has a ton of shit on it, since we've had it for almost 4 years I think, we've never reformatted ...

Trust me, I would, and it's easy as a few key strokes, but my dad thinks computers should never be reformatted, no joke.

But it seems like I have a bigger issue now with my processor.
