This movie got some bad criticism, and honestly I did find myself somewhat disappointed with it.

But, it's not something I walked out and said "That was a waste" to.

If you're a Mayizaki fan, I'd recommend this movie. Just don't go in expecting a Mononoke-Nausica-Castle in the Sky-Spirited Away ... you get the picture.

To me the movie just felt really "slow", it never really grabbed me or anything.

But it still had great animation, incredible music and scenery, and decent characters (Calcifur, the Fire was the best).

Expect some great voice acting too (if you're going to see it in theaters or something), Christian Bale does the voice of Howl, Billy Crystal as Calcifur, and other well known actors were in there.

It just seems like one of those movies you'll either like or won't like.

You realize that MP is not infinite, right? And that you can't buy Ethers? - Screw Potions, I'll abuse healing spells in just about any RPG I play. I find/steal enough MP restoratives anyway, and I can always head back to town to rest in an inn. Morrowind is the only exception to this; I almost never use any magic outside of Alteration, Mysticism, and Illusion in that game, relying on self-made potions and resting for health.

In most RPG's that I enjoy and really get into, I'll have that "I have to collect everything" attitude. I don't know what it is, and as stupid as it sounds, but when I'm at the end of an RPG and can look back into my inventory to find a "Dagger", I feel great. And I'm never in the middle of this, I either keep everything, or sell everything that I don't need. I've done this in a few RPG's like FFIV, where money was kind of hard to get. When that would happen, I'd for some reason just sell everything except for whatever I had equiped basically.

I'm also bad with items. I look at them as a "Use as your last resort" kind of thing. So, if you saw some of my RPG games, you'd see I'd have tons of Ethers, and Potions, because I rarely used them, ever. Elixers and things like that I almost NEVER used, until the final boss or something. I just waste items sometimes.

I just don't know what it is, but in RPG's, towards the end of the game if you have the ability to travel anywhere throughout the game, I'll usually "Pick a place that I'd like to call home", or something weird like that, and almost always go there over any other town or whatever.

Yeah, it was a good experience for me. This was the first anime I've seen in theaters, of course it was in one of the smaller theaters (it only had 4 showings yesterday, at an AMC 30, so yeah it was kind of bad), so it was really cool seeing anime on a huge screen.

But yeah, times were rare, and it was in one of the smaller theaters. I'm surprised it even showed here.

So, good luck with that.

I like RTS LAN parties more than FPS. I'm not bad at FPS games, but I'm not the best either, and I find games like WC3 to be better than Counterstrike. Then again, I'm not really good at RTS games, either.

You suck for illegally downloading a great movie.

Of course everyone does it, but it's ... STAR WARS!

And I guess I can't really say that I favor FPS LAN parties over RTS ones, since I've been to only a few RTS ones ... still though, I'm usually one of the best players at a party in FPS's, and easily the worst when it comes to RTS's.

I took a bunch myself, finally. Luckily we have a great digital camera, so they turned out well.

And I thought you were the Star Wars junkie, NSNick?

We just moved, as you will obviously see my setup is incomplete, and you'll see a ton of posters laying around. Eventually I'll try to get new pictures up once I'm done organizing everything (try again in 6 months,

).

The entrance - to my domain. I basically got the basement to myself in my new home. To the left is my bathroom, to the right is a storage room, and straight ahead is my basement.
Star Wars Episode III Theater Poster - my most prized poster. The first thing you see when entering my basement.
The gaming / TV setup - yep, where I spend most of my time.

(my room is to the left)
Star Wars figures - an up close shot of my collection (70+).
Star Wars figures part 2 - the vehicles and such.
Arc the Lad Collection - up close of my entire AlL collection set, I also have the poster which I should probably put up ...
My babies - Look closely.

The other side - which has, absolutely nothing. Gotta love it. I'll probably put all my magazines on that shelf soon enough. And posters on the walls.
My actual room - basically just where I sleep, nothing else.
Other side of the room - still haven't even plugged that TV in.

Yeah, I had some issues with the destructible rocks myself (getting stuck in them).

Overall, it's not bad. Definitely challening, and definitely a pain in the ass on a keyboard.
