Thing is, didn't the Paradius games not even release in the US though?
Or are you talking about the one for MAME?
But does Nintendo have control over MAME games?

Kitten Yiffer, you have confused me.

Colleen: Does that really make you dizzy or something?

That would truly probably make the game more challeging. Being attacked by boobs? There goes my concentration.

I know it's a little late to ask, but what's the best emulator to use?

Right now I have MAME32 Plus!, which is pretty nice I'd say.

Stick with that one?

Haven't the nsf (I think that's what they're called?) file for Zelda II, I have heard the last Palace theme ... just never managed to make it that far in the game.

Have you guys heard the orchestrated versions of the Dark World? (there's a few, one that's an entire track, and there's a Dark World segment in this big orchestrated Zelda compilation song).

Absolutely amazing stuff there.

I could probably ... upload and share.

Oh my god.

OH MY GODAGE!

(Sonic Gems = Sonic Mega Collection 2)

How can this get any better? Sonic CD, with Streets of Rage 1-3 on one disc?

I'm buying this game on it's release date.

Oh, want fact?

It's very true my friends.

The Streets of Rage games are easily my favorite beat em' ups, period. And Sonic CD is easily my favorite Sonic game, period.

This is too good.

Well, you kind of figured they had to add *SOMETHING* to the game since Sonic CD and Sonic R wouldn't sell it on its own (the Game Gear games have been used before in other games so they don't count).

I'm a bit surprised that Streets of Rage 1-3 would make the cut though. Good games, yes, but they don't exactly fit the Sonic motif. :\ (At least the games from the first collection were of the Flicky/Ristar ilk.)

You sound like you're complaining ...

I mean, did Comic Zone fit in with the first Mega Collection?
(for the PS2 and Xbox versions at least)

But yeah, I mean it's no real shocker. About a week ago IGN had an article that stated SoR would appear, I just got really excited when I saw this and read "Not just the first, but all 3!"

So yeah, I'm really excited personally.

ww: I saw you didn't know who Hans Zimmer was, neither did I until my friends looked it up and got a few of his soundtracks.

He also did the score for Black Hawk Down, The Last Samurai, The Ring 2, and other movies that I can't think of at the moment.

So yeah, he's brilliant and up there wth John Williams.

Is there a way to do it?

I remember 'style opacity' didn't work, and I can't say I know of any other way to make tables transparency, so just thought I'd ask.

Simple question I guess.

Posted on 06-20-05 06:24 PM, in Apparently I've been here for a year. But there's another purpose to this thread, I promise. Link
Been here for almost exactly 2 years. I've been banned (on the old board at least), a normal user, and now am on staff.

I guess this is where I talk about my life over the past 2 years? That's the idea I've gotten in this thread.

*Started up gaming (design) classes in High School, I've been waiting to do so for years.
*Learned about programming. I enjoy it, even though I'm not so great at it.
*Typing and grammar has improved thanks to message boards (again, I'm new to message boards entirely. Only been posting for about 2 years, so I've come a long way)
*Got into Progressive and Power Metal.
*My videogame collection has shot up amazingly over the past couple of years.
*I run my own site [Xeogaming], but I've been procastinating for months in not putting up a main site. I had one before, but someone messed up my database and I was using phpNuke. Don't use free CMS's.
*Made some online friendlies here and at my board and through all the boards I've been too.
*Now I have a job at Jiffy Lube. About everyone at my work likes rap and smokes.
*Been seeing all the new great movies in theaters.
*Started mowing lawns for extra cash.
*Moved into a new house, where I've gotten the entire basement to myself. I think my parents finally realized I'm growing up (I'll have pictures soon).

Oh yeah, still looking for love.

That's it.

I've just gotten out of this shit.

For about 5 years, I've had some acne off and on. It's never been horrible or anything, and it's never reached any part of my body except for my face, but it was noticable and annoying.

So, for these 5 years I was on about every single acne medication you can think of. Seriously, name something, I've probably used it. Pills, special cleansing soaps, anything.

So, over the last year I was finally put on acne-tane, said to be the most powerful acne reliever / destroyer ever. And it did show, I haven't had a breakout in months. My face isn't perfect yet, but you'd have to get real close up to notice any damaged skin or anything, and it's gradually getting better.

That being said, I killed acne.

And you obviously haven't kept up with the PC World, or something.

They're making an expansion pack to the game, which is supposedly supposed to be even bigger than the original. It takes place right after the end of Half-Life 2.

I think it comes out this summer, but I'm not positive.

But yeah, it's basically just a cliffhanger. Even the first Half-Life did this.

I don't know why you guys are argueing, I think Priere and Zerodius said it best.

There has always been bad games, and there always will be.

The reason why games just aren't that replayable these days is because they're much more complicated than they used to be. Back in the day it was Y to run, and B to jump. All you had to do was turn on the game, and you're insantly playing it.

But games now, usually have a learning curve to them, or they have cutscenes to add to the storyline, or whatever.

I'm not saying any of this is bad, it's just why I think the majority of us gamers, tend to say "Games these days aren't that fun to go back to". Because they're not simple like they used to be.

That, or people like myself, will always be classic fans over the new stuff.
