No, really, send me money.

This would be me playing around with the LEITer again. So far it's, uh, -almost- operable. I think I'm going to just run a setup at the beginning and ask for keys for the 20 or so tiles and assign them to keys or whatnot.

And in case you haven't figured it out, the [XX] is the cursor until further notice.

Right now it takes the ASCII of the character you push [a for instance] and puts out that as an object.

Of course, in the beginning there was not this and therefore it sucked and it reads the last digit [42 -> 2 for example] and puts that.

Just another thing to work on, I guess.

Any comments on how it's turning out?

With the seeming lack of people it's getting kind of annoying working on it if there's no one who will use it...

It might have something to do with XP.
Actually it has nothing to do with that. It's merely the fact that the file that wasn't found was "cmobj2.dat", which is in the main ZIP.

Had you run CMED without it, it would've given you a nice error in the form "Could not find file. Check to make sure you have [cmobj2.dat / levels2.dat] and try again".

I was too lazy to put in any sort of lame error-handling thing since I never got errors, and besides, this version sucks. Once I figure out the real deal [just you wait ] ... yeah.

Thing is for the start I'm going to have to create this file by hand in notepad or something, because... argh... yeah. ;

Oh well... if you want the file anyway so you can play around and make levels that won't be saved go ahead.

On second thought, I should do that. Have it save whatever you do to L1 for no reason if you push F1 or something.

Oy, I'm drowning myself in ideas... ack.


And Kefka, that's just the intrface.exe title. The MAIN program is CMED.

I think I'm giving too many away, but this one was fucking deserved.


If anyone ever included intros [I only hate them if they take a loooong time to finish themselves, since my comp runs GBA roms at a pathetic 60% [Wario Ware Inc.]... they should at least include how to remove them. That is probably the best way.

And the only thing Emulamers are good for is holding these ROMs for later download. Me... I have mabye 10 GBA ROMs, 9 of which I got off of an emu CD from a friend. I sometimes try them before I buy them [such as how I'm planning on getting Wario Ware, if I can find the damn thing]...

The main point: I don't mind intros if they're removable or such. Seeing as how the trainer for WWI that was on the ROM I got appears to glitch the final stages at times ... argh.

Anyway, those shots look nice minus the fact that the HH Mountain waterfall thing... ... use regular water in the - part.

Also, where are the trees? The -anythings-?! There's nothing on the overworld minus a mountain and a waterfall. Where are the small touches here and there? It makes it look just a bit plain.

It will be interesting to see how this turns out.
