Also- I shifted a few title tiles around to create my own graphic, but when I save these alterations in either Rom File or PPU, they don't appear to save and next time I load the rom the tiles revert to their original positions.

Could this have something to do with not using a stripped rom? I tried to strip the header with Ucon64 but it corrupted the file, and I'm not using the logging facilities or anything.

I fear the problem is simply that the changes I make aren't saving for some reason, though I can't explain the string changes saving ok. Strange to me..

Regardless, to have the ROM changes show up, you'll need to likely reload the room (go out/back in) or restart the ROM. The PPU, as far as I know, just shows the current one and is erased after it's overwritten by something else

There are a few simple rules which all users should follow in their layouts:

- No flashy backgrounds which make text difficult to read. This doesn't mean you can't have a nice background, but at least make sure that the area where the text is doesn't make a post hard to read.
- No huge pictures or excessive amounts of GIFs. Huge pictures just make threads longer to load and having too many GIFs can slow down some computers.
- No broken tables. If you're working with tables and feel that you might be messing up, check your post in your user profile. If the profile seems to be messed up, then the layout is as well. Broken tables can wreck havoc with threads.

That's pretty hard to read if you use 800x600

Believe me -- most new hardware you get will work perfectly fine until the gaurentee expires.

I feel like mentioning that last time I got one of those messages, my hard drive started making a normal clicking noise (albeit a little louder) but other than that worked exactly the same (and still does!)

So don't always take those messages seriously, but it is a goo d idea to back it up

Illusion (GP Legend) was one of the most kickass tracks ever. I just sat there, hovering in 2nd place, and would bash the 1st place off the track... it was pretty amusing, I managed to kill all 30 cars (yes, 30 -- myself included, as the last death of the game)

Seems an awful lot like the past... what... 892751 incarnations of Hyrule, with bridges sprawling over a giant death-zone of mountain ranges...

But yeah, the font looks an awful lot different too... interesting. Now if only there was more
