Hence why I voted to change the forum to "Lost Topics", since the original topic of the thread is removed, thrown off a cliff, spat upon, shot, urinated on, ran over, and blown up.

Zem: Nope. I added the number after I finished the drawing (OMG HINT) because the tally marks were hard to read xD

The object: Get the old TC300 drive working properly on this computer.
The problem: No drivers.
More info: No drivers = no modem. No modem = no downloading. No downloading = no getting drivers to fix problems.

Extended version:
In essence, I'm screwed. I have the old TC300 computer hard-drive, with Win 98 installed, ready to go (figured out why it had so many problems; evidently a certain dolt that wasn't me bent one of the jumper pins together... th en again, if it wasn't for that fuckup, I probably wouldn't have the drive anyway)

The computer I'm attempting to put it in has unknown hardware to me. WinME drive installed, and anyone with half a brain can realize why I want my old OS back

Attempting to hook up both drives at once and just copy drivers from the ME drive failed for some reason (I believe it was a jumper conflict) but the TC300 drive worked fine... somewhat.

Removing the CD-ROM drives and just hooking it up as PrmMastr/TC300 - ScnMastr/ME didn't work, it didn't notice the TC300 drive (I assume I misread the jumpers and put it in backwards, afterwards I'll check)

I'm just wondering if there might be something entirely wrong with the plan, such as ME drivers being incompatable with Win98 (though doubtable, since ME seems to be 98 with minor disimprovements)

Help would obviously be appreciated though.

MHT isn't the same thing at all, it's simply the HTML page formatted like an email message, with all images as base64 encoded attachments, included in the .mht (load a .mht in a text editor, you'll see) ... if you load it in Internet Explorer and view the source, you'll get the HTML back (although slightly different) and even the links to the images

"Full web page" saves the HTML and all images (in a folder), and changes the image links to point to the saved copy ...

From looking at a MHT file in Notepad, it seems to be similar in format to a saved email. Testing this out, I renamed the MHT to .EML, and found that Outlook Express could open the page as an email. Perhaps, you could look for some kind of EML extractor utility, if MHT extractor searches turn up nothing. (Which they did for me)
FKitten Yiffer to read entire thread... Go figure.

Anyway, what do you want with .mht files? Wouldn't it be easier just to hit HTML Only (*.htm, *.html), or just save the page with images instead of screwing with this format?

Posted on 02-15-05 11:04 PM, in Why do some people have negative post counts? Link
I originally saw Mind/WarriorSiren (way back then) with it, thought it was nifty, asked Acmlm what "NAN" meant, found out, then bugged him again for this...

Later in `03 I came out of the negatives (un-legitimately, sadly) and forgot about it...

...Then the board restarted, I remembered what I did back when I first registered and I said "Hey, what the hell, why not" and did it.

Only two people ever got negative post counts without being permabanned, and that was me and WarriorSiren, to my knowledge

Still pretty kickass, I can't wait for next year when I get to post a "0 posts!" thread XD

I sort them into levels, with L1 being 'the bomb', L2 being pretty damn good, and so on, down to L4 which are mostly friends (unlisted: forgot or idiot, PM to find out which )

Level 1 consists of mostly people I've known for a long time and who are the shit:
- Imajin
- Monarx
- Myself (duh)
- Melvin

Level 2 is are kickass people who I talk to often:
- Acmlm
- Anya
- Hiryuu
- Black Lard
- Cymoro
- Myself
- Cheveyo

Level 3 are people I find funny or cool and occasioanlly talk to on AIM:
- Hyperhacker
- Kyouji Kraw
- Ziff
- Chibitaryn
- Kitten Yiffer
- Kawa
- Windwaker
- Dahrkdiaz

Level 4 are just people who occasionally talk to me:
- Waddler-D/Tamias
- knuck
- Fyxe
- Colleen
- Jesper

Kinda small, and sadly I've lost most contact with my main friends (namely Imajin, who sadly is not around much now )
