Believe it or not, my text->img converter was originally based off of this board's numgfx

Aside from a little help from php.net with its wonderful listing of how shit works, that's pretty much all I used

That idiot spelt Las Vegas wrong.

He should be shot.

(also note that "300mi east of 'Los' Vegas" is actually in Arizona, on the east side. This idiot should make his story plausable.)

Yeah, I saw that.

However, the URL triggers the "idiot spam site" people make (that have multiple stupid words in them, always-seperated-by-dashes) and that reminds me of one.

I doubt that was the actual city that made that (they can't be that stupid) especially since several places on the ACTUAL PAGE spell it right.

And to bakc up my claim, right below that entry on Google:

Los vegas to grand canyon jeep tours background
You are never lost with this los vegas to grand canyon jeep tours information. But do not think Yahoo is the only search engine ...
www.ci.las-vegas.nv.us/grand-canyon-tours/ los-vegas-to-grand-canyon-jeep-tours.html - 29k

Sounds suspiciously like one of those pages.

We should get more magnets. As of right now we don't have as many as we used to (I'd think) but it'd be pretty, er, strange to see a bare fridge now XD

Also, I'm not showing you guys a (recent) picture of me. Unless you can bribe me. Even then doubtable

And isn't there a SNES tracer? Couldn't you open up the pipe maze level in DW:TLC and trace the code used when passing thru the pipes? If its possible maby you could get the code (in hex) of how to make the pipes. Or even do the same thing in SMB3
Problem is, you'd end up having a slight problem there because of the fact that they'd be one-way

I'm actually kinda amazed that after all this time no one's figured out how to replicate them yet

Interestingly "Burning Rangers" was a song on PSO, available via one of the several "DISK" items (it'd start music playing, if you didn't know)

It was a pretty good (and provided a halarious Winamp error occasionally that would fit perfectly for a moderator: "Error asking thread to die!" -- or, on second thought, a wannabe mod), too bad I don't have it ATM (it's on the confiscated laptop, suprise)

Layout looks okay (6/10, above average but nothing special) and happy anniversary

This isn't in Modern Art because it sucks too much to be art. Don't move it. Or he'll attack you from the depths of that now-folded-and-ruined paper.

I am amazed at my (in)ability to draw. Or rather, where this actually came from:

stupid scanned picture <--63 KB, a far cry from the original 80MB mammoth it was before properly cropped

The actual guy is actually probably 1" tall (or close to). I doodled an even smaller (and better looking in some aspects, namely the shirt and hair) version of Battery* during the actual test, the above was done at home using the original as a refrence.

Anyone who can figure out what
Er.: |||| |||| |||| |||| |||| ||| 28

means earns a packet of instant oatmeal.

* Battery is a mockery of the name "Iowa Tests: Complete Battery", which it is-- it commits battery of the mind with its 170 questions, and that's just one section; namely the one I did today, which was the English one (Spelling, Vocab, Reading Comprehension, and Revising Written Shit). For more details, read the handwriting. If you can. My handwriting sucks.

* The stats are based on little things about the test. HP = questions. Level = the level printed on the booklet (in this case, 15) Attack/Defense are the grade level (9) * 10. Agility is the total time limit alotted (10+20+40+40). Intelligence is the average between Agi and Atk. MP is HP * 0.5. Overall, he seems to be a semi-average Level 15 character.

Battery is a wierd name, I know. Loosk sorta like Melv with the glasses. Pants inspired by the Pockethouse pants.

I myself give it an E for Effort. Which is bad.

I wonder what they'd do if someone removed the transmitter but wore the badge

Anyway, this is complete BS. Cameras (more effective, usually) are better than those, since you can't really remove a camera and installing them would cost less anyway.

I just can't believe these idiots went through with it, but then again -- the superintendant is getting $$$$$ for it, and if it goes with other schools, he'll get tons of $$$$.

Money is the root of all evil

well...not unless it is 170 questions on simple math problems like adding single digit numbers. does anyone remember their addition tables
Read the post. It was all reading comprehension (usually stuff like, say, reading a 3-para essay and then picking random crap out), vocabulary (this = __?__), revising written works (correcting spelling errors, order errors, omitting junk, etc), and spelling (pick the wrong one)

All multiple choice, and I finished it with what I'd assume to be a grand total taken of mabye 70 minutes, hence why I had so much extra time to goof off and make that

Edit: No one's gotten the "Er: " yet

Wierd. It's one of the few sprites that looks like utter shit at doublesize like that, but looks perfect at 50%.

Usually they'll look okay at doublesize if it's a good sprite, but... wierd.

I myself hate huge tutorials (usually; few are helpful) but PHP.net is essential if you want to learn new functions to go above and beyond something.

Like Narf said (omgiagreewtfman) it's just a list of functions, what they do, and how to use them. It's not like "Do this now: (#*&%@(&%(#@*&% Then do this: [more garbage]" it's just a refrence

And exactly how much development have you seen on the Strange Mario Bros series lately?
Strange Mario Bros 1 is done

Strange Mario Bros. 2 has seen quite a bit of stuff, and if you have connections like I do you could easily grab the unfit-for-release beta and mess with it.

I did, and it rocks my multicolored socks.
