Well, it becomes unplayable if you lose a powerup near the first pipe (Pushing down just makes the status bar fly up)... but again, it's a demo, so... yeah.... also happens if you stand on a hit ! switch XD

Just an annoyance.

The code/data logger must rock, then, hehe.

It would be a lot more fun, though, if it didn't crash every time I do something.

[5-day shove]

Finally found the S1 set, a nice 99$ hole in my wallet (and over 70$ in other junk) was burned yesterday.

It's now sitting above my computer desk. The only reason I'm not watching it right now is because I'm eating breakfast and I can't get the damned thing open XD

Since everyone says that the thing is halarious, and I figured that from the 1/2 of the first ep I watched a year ago (mistakenly downloaded it thinking it was another anime, oops) ... yeah. I love funny stuff, so naturally...

Anyway, I'll update this when I manage to get the box open and watch it

You forget though, IE will eventually give up and display the page anyway (I should know, it's happened to me many times) ... evidently for Firefox users, it won't even start

And as for the thread loading thing, Kitten Yiffer, servers will sometimes be slow. Not to mention, since you use Firefox 99.99% of the time, IE won't have anything cached, so of course it's going to be slow. COMMON SENSE PEOPLE

Anyway, Opera kicks all of your asses. Broken CSS? No problem, just display it as if it wasn't needed until it loads! (not to mention it's at version 7-something, and has been going on for a lot longer, so there's naturally going to be a lot less errors)

Oh, wait, I'm turning this into a browser discussion. Whups.

Given that making it work took under 3 seocnds (port forwarding through router makes UDP usable) I use it whenever someone asks. It's fun playing with other people.

All the time? Show me a few others (not just one, because 'all the time' implies quite often) where this is the case. Also, it can, suprise. Allow me to demonstrate:

This board : Suggested feature :: Hospital patient : flowers on desk
This board : Posting to threads :: Hospital patient : life support

It does not need this, therefore it can go without. Whoops. Continuing on my quest to blow your retort into thousands of pieces...

What roleplay and RPG features? Status.php? Shop.php? The forums? The RPG system (Level/EXP) were created before this board began (afaik it was made for another forum; Acmlm just copied the forumulas he used on the board he made it on first, which might have been Eyes on Final Fantasy, though I'm unsure) and the shop/status image are merely extensions of it.

And they're not completely useless; they can be used on a user's desktop (Acmlm uses it, I used to use it before GD crapped) to check your posts/level/whatever without having to open your browser-of-choice to look at it.

Anyway, the more of these kind of things, the better; having more and better user/board status overviews is always good, especially when the data necesary to build something like this is already there so it's just the script that needs to be made.
What data? There's nothing that keeps track of the posts-in-forums data. Nowhere. That would be too much of a hassle, for the database and the coder(s). The list you see in the "Posts by Forum" link in a user's profile is generated when requested, and only used on that page. As soon as that script finishes, the statuses are gone. The script that would make this would have to gather and compare the data for every user and then display it. That would suck up tons of resources, especially on such a large board with thousands of users.

Not to mention, what's so great about displaying user/board statuses? ZOMGZ I POSTED THE MOSTED I HAVE SUPRE WOOT ZKILLZ ZOMGZ ... if you really need to check shit, use stats.php or the damned memberlist, or check your profile. What would be the point, anyway? YAY I POSTED MORE THAN U IN FORUM ASDF I WINNAR!

Yeah, I've seen one called SMB DX, it uses graphics from the SMB3 game. I'll try and find it for you.

3) Here, I went through the thread just for you and got this.

Q) How do I edit the title screen demo?
A) First, open level C7. That's the title screen level. Make it look like you want it to. Now, save a copy of the level to a level that can be accessed from the overworld. Open the overworld editor and change the first level in the game to the level you just saved. Save and close down LM. Open it again and enter the Chelsea easter egg mentioned above. Go to the overworld editor and click CTRL+P. An ASM hack should now be installed to the ROM. Open Zsnes (Yes, Zsnes. No other emulator will work) and load your ROM in it. Play the title screen level and move like you want Mario to move in the demo. When you're finished, press ESC and make a save state. Quit Zsnes and go back to LM again. (If you closed it, you have to enter the Chelsea easter egg again.) Go to the overworld editor and click CTRL+R. When you are asked for it, find the save state you made and double click on it. Don't close LM unless you would like to enter the easter egg again later. Load the game and see if the movie looks right. If it doesn't, start the game and record a new one. If it's OK, go back to the overworld editor and press CTRL+U to uninstall the ASM. (This is very important.) There you go! A new demo movie!
