Did what I did last time. Downloaded OmniSecure, and got MySQL 4.1 from the MySQL homepage. Installed both.

Put in PHPmyAdmin.

"Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (Using password: NO)"

Oops, forgot the password.

Now I get:

MySQL said:
#1251 - Client does not support authentication protocol requested by server; consider upgrading MySQL client

Problem is, I've tried getting 5.0 too; neither works, and I need this so I can do some work. Arrghghghgh.

01/04/2005 - Made the background myself. Guess the game it's based off of.

Yes, I do (my taskbar's on autohide; I just moved it out so you could see it in the shot)

But even then autohide leaves a line on the screen where it is (mine's deep red), and I see no line, so...

Actually doing the exact opposite of what that said (downgrading to MySQL 3.23) fixed it, but I'm sure that was the same problem.

Oh well, I like the old one better, heh

Actually it works great for other things; I can point it behind me and not have to worry if mom sneaks up on me and gives my computer chair a jolt

We've had one, I've just never bothered to hook it up (until recently)

Is there something wrong with 128kbps? 128 is perfectly normal music quality, unless you're either a spacesaver (someone like Acmlm, who rerecords all music to be ~42kbps) or a perfectionist who can't stand a small bit of compression on huge music

---

Just wondering, does this mean that there is literally a ROM sitting on the disk? Would it have to be formatted in any way (extension change, some fixing) to run in a generic emulator or is it in perfect (though glitchy) condition?

If so, I wonder if anywhere has a copy of this PER* for download?

*Playstation Emulated ROM, because I couldn't think of a better extention for a not-so-SNES ROM

I only have a perception range of IN FRONT OF ME.

This doesn't include directly behind me, where she comes from.

Not only that but she walks at about 500 MPH, so just turning around doesn't give much help.

(plus, she's pretty quiet when she comes out, so eh)

*also punches Trapster*

My cam has a higher quality (i've already tried recording; it works)

That and... well, just take Kyouji's advice and mabye watch his movie before saying his is better or mine is worse. It makes you look even stupider when it turns out you were wrong

Text: Far too bright.
Links: Same, except they also don't stand out. Use a blue-tinted dark gray, mabye, to try and conform to way-back-then standards or at least use another color.

Other than that I don't mind the fact it's plain, I just don't like how it always takes up a tiny speck on my screen =/ STRETCY PLZ

The idea seems stupid to me. Why should we waste even more database space just because some random person is too lazy to roll his scrollwheel or push PgDown a few times?

I believe I speak for pretty much everyone on this comment:

FUCK OFF.
(to elaborate: if you don't like it, do the above. Just because you think that translating games/speaking German/whatever the fuck you commented on is stupid doesn't mean it's Holy Fucking Law and needs to be turned into a direct insult to someone who's done so much fucking work on this game.)

On topic, I don't like the new textboxes. A little more opacity and a little darker blue would work perfect, only because parts of the map are white and so is the text color (white/white = bad)

I've played a (now reletively early) beta as a bugtester.

This hack kicks ass.

That's all I'm going to say, just to let DD go ahead and tell them what he wants But yes, it rocks my socks.

Owned -> Pwned -> My personal variant "pooned", which is a slight mispronounciation of pwned.

Jeez.

Oh, here's something I dug up in the Almighty Folder Of Shit:

ONO

That's old.

(incidentally, that was made on 01/01/04! Happy birthday, ono sign!)

I thought I had seen it before so I was pretty sure I would end up with Jesus (and I did)

That and you can tell the Luigi image was made in 3 seconds; the rest of it is pixelish while the 3 dots are not
