| All it means is that somewhere between your pc and speakers the cable is picking up RFI (radio frequence interference). Nothing gets damaged, but it gets annoying after a while. I will always remember in the middle of a gig I was doing sound for, it was a concert at college, and the Principal was giving a speech before the last band came on, and somewhere in my system was an unsheilded cable. JUST before he started talking, the system started relaying a taxi drivers radio: "Where the f**king hell is this f**king place, you stupid c**tf**k!" I've never seen a bald man blush so much that his HEAD went red! God I was so embarrassed. Back to the thread, all computer equipment iirc, is by law (unless theres some exception, like audio stuff) made to accept any and all RFI. Usually you can't hear the interference, as its really really quiet, but sometimes it peaks, and you get a blast of radio. Harmless, don't worry  |

I have the sony in-ear (literally) head phones, they fit inside your ear canal, blocking off most outside sound and creating a seal, for enchanced bass and actually work quite well as ear defenders (21dB reduction). They work pretty much like onstage monitoring. |

1) Adverts that start off with "During your period....." I don't know why, but they REALLY piss me off! |
2) Townies/Scallies/Scum - you know the dirty little men and women who listen to shitty happy hardcore dance music 24/7 and have sex in bus shelters, and wear tracksuit bottoms tucked INTO their socks and cheap-ass brown boots. 3) Dance music in general, can't get into it, sorry! 4) The way music is going, you know, R'n B, Dance, Rap. All pants, keep music live! 5) People who think drumming is as easy as "bashing a few skins with sticks" 6) Guitarists (more importantly MY guitarist just kidding paz!)7) Whiney bass guitarists (in all my years of playing in bands, I've never met a nice and sociable one!) 8) The japanese culture that has the youth of today in a vice like grip....... 9).....ANIME, I don't get it, I really don't, its poo! Ah well, each to their own I suppose 10) The Darkness, geez guys, get over yourselves! 11) Music teachers, teachers in general!

My computing teacher knows less than a brick about computers! I mean come on, the PC froze, she didn't know what ctrl+alt+delete was! She had to get another teacher in to fix it! (all that had happened was IE had crashed and she didn't know what to do!) Out of protest I stopped goin for a couple of weeks, came back last week and she didn't even NOTICE I was gone for so long!
