I thought even terrorists wouldn't be so brutal, talk about naive.

I know the saying goes "there's no action without reaction" but that's only true to a certain point, they went over the limit. With people constantly trying to out do each other it won't ever end.

The whole ideal of war is just idiotic nowadays, it seems too easy for the people in power to try and resolve a situation by sending their people to war. They see it as too much of an easy way out, letting someone else get their hands dirty while they enjoy the easy life. We've gone back on ourselves. Years ago if the ruler of a country felt war was the best option then they would go to war, they would lead their people and fight in the war themselves. Obviously to put yourself in that situation out of your own choosing meant that you truly believed in what you were fighting for, not that you were just sending out people that are "expendable" to get the job done for you.

I think the "side program" you request is reffered to as a "toaster", it is ingenious in that while you play FFXI, it cooks bread.

Jesus, my second post and I'm already being sarcastic/obnoxious.

I didn't fight all that much at school, only with a very good friend. It was always over nothing, the slightest argument and one of us would throw a punch then the other would retaliate. It would just be a case of us alternating punches (we didn't fight dirty) until we forgot why we were fighting in the first place only to laugh at the whole thing and be best of mates again. In fact, I'm his son's godfather now.

I get into a lot of "potential fights", usually on a drunken Saturday night. I don't go looking for trouble, I must just have the kind of face or manerisms that attract the wrong kind of attention. I tend to just shout and swear a lot until the other person/s go away, I have a huge problem with knowing when to back down.

I can't see 2D dying out, not with the demand for wave upon wave of Street Fighter and King Of Fighters sequels.

Now all we need is a handheld with 6 buttons and a decent D-Pad to play all the best 2D beat 'em up's on. I'd seriously love to be able to play Capcom VS SNK 2 on the bus, I would actually look forward to going to work just for that.

I think I'm the only one even slightly hopeful about this.

I honestly think it could work, executed correctly of course. I've seen some awesome games run on the Symbian OS, and I think this kind of game would be perfectly suited to high-end phones.

I have a Sony Ericsson P800, and I can't think of anything better than an RPG that would make good use of the touch screen. Menus would be quick and easy to navigate, slecting targets would be simple, it all makes sense. The only problem I can really see however is memory. A game with that much depth would would require an insane amount.
