| I agree about the X stuff. I just can't seem to find a decent configuration for jumping, sliding, shooting and walking. The first battle with Agile in X2 is a nightmare, since I end up pushing the wrong button all the time. Waah. But I did beat the PC port of MMX, though. Yes, it's bad. Don't try it, unless you're willing to give up playability for save files. But then again, You could just play the rom and use save states. |

Yeah, if you're a real oldbie, you might remember those pretty crappy comic strips I churned out. |
(If not, they can be found here. Yeah, really bad. I know.) Anyway, I decided to restart the strip, with an actual plot this time. See how Adamant got his powers, watch him join up with other heroes like SomerZ and Goldor, and cheer as he throws fireballs in the faces of various villains. Fun for everybody. I'll eventually create a thread at BnG once I have a decent amount of strips (4-5 or so) and have finished the logo I'm working on (pretty simple. Just the 4 main heroes (Adamant, SomerZ, Goldor and Maijin) facing the 4 main villains (Platinal, Lord Zort, Red Blazer and Master C) (Those characters should be known to at least some of the SF-ers. They've all been in more than one story) in front of some flashy background. ) Anyone, here's the first strip. No plot or anything yet, just a simple introduction.  I believe this turned out pretty well. The broken monitor looks much better this time (not perfect, but stilll...). Yes, there is a reason for the darkness. You'll find out next time, but I'll just say it has to do with me being lazy. The final line is something Adamant would definitly say in a situation like this. I've also decided how to present the comic. I'll do the 6 first strips, then I'll redo the crappy ones (1 and 2, currently), finish that damn logo, and THEN make a thread at BnG.

 The cast doubles as we introduce a new character (yes, he looks a lot like "Adamant". He'll only be around for 2 strips anyway, so who cares about his looks? This is also the reason it's dark.) So, anyone remember Gamey? Apart from having a horrible name (Yeah, he'll eventually drop it), he didn't have much of a personality, so he was kinda shoved aside most of the time. I know he was in the FF3 parody, where he drank all of Cid's beer. (And yes, that's all I remember him doing. He likes beer, there's his personality) Also, our only clue to what's going on kinda went down the drain. Oooh, the suspense.
