Capcom wanted to release the PSX remakes of the Rockman games outside US, but Sony didn't let them. I can see the same thing happening with this game.

As I said earlier, DoS is a horribly butchered version of the original. The dumbed down difficulity level, the forced overlevelling and the entire hold-A-to-beat-game system is exactly why I don't like that game.

In the original, you had spell charges, not MP. You had a certain number of times you could use spells from a certain level, and there was no other way to replenish charges other than resting. You couldn't run around throwing multi-targetting spells at everyone and their dog, and healing was very limited.

No auto-aim system either. You attacked what you chose to attack, no matter whether it was still alive or not.

But it was fun, dammit, unlike DoS.

Seems fun, yes, but I'm not buying a PSP for one remake, and besides, I'm positive a game like this won't get released outside Japan. Sony doesn't like stuff like this, and they didn't release the Rockman remakes for the PSX either.

If Sony of America approves it, because it would, it would fall on Capcom for distribution. Not Sony.

Sony and Nintendo have different systems of distribution.

All right, if they approve of it, then. They didn't approve of the PSX Rockman remakes, so will they approve of this?

The Twin spell was left alone, but pretty much every other skill was removed, making most characters a lot more similiar. Bleh.

They removed Yang's kick skill, but he still uses it in the cut scene when you first see him.

Yeah, because the N64 was the first console Nintendo ever made. And it's not the quality of consoles that's important, it's the number of them.

Capcom are releasing a PSP version of the original MMX as well. I wouldn't be surprised if they continue porting more classic MM games following these two. And even less surprised if they all become Japan only.

Reviving this question, the original Grab Bag was wonderful. You don't figt over symbolic mushrooms or crap like that, you actually steal money from the other players. And of course, you all gang up on the richest guy. Ah, it's so beautiful, and should be in every MP game ever.

When it comes to pure fun, there's nothing beating Mushroom Mix-up. The sequel, Hexagon Heat, came close, but Mix-up remains the greatest minigame of all time.

There have been three different fansubs on this series, but none of them are completed. One group has only subbed a single episode, another 6, and the last one 10 or so (the group with 6 subbed episodes have the highest quality subs, though).

It's an entartaining little show, but it doesn't follow the manga as much as most manga-based animes. A lot of material is skipped, a chunk of new material is added, and a lot of stuff is changed for no appearant reason (including a number of the games). Miho, who made a single appearance in the manga, has recieved a personality makeover, and is now a main character.

But, we don't ask for fansubs here, so you'll have to find it yourself.

Oh, and as explained in the quote, it's not the first season of the Yu-Gi-Oh! airing in the US, but a different series made by a different company, with different animators and voice actors.

Said globe is also slower than shit, and games that can't handle stuff like that (read: FF2) shouldn't have it.

Eh, okay, so it's been known of for a while, and the first game has been out for a week or so now, but since it appearantly didn't get too much hype, a lot of people, myself included, did not know of this new series from Atlus, collecting the classic Kunio games on a series of GBA cartridges.

Volume 1, containing the popular Nekketsu Koukou Dodge Ball Bu, released as Super Dodge Ball in the states, as well as the lesser known in the US, but still a damn fine game, Nekketsu Street Basket: Ganbare Dunk Heroes, was released August 25th, and the second volume is less than a month away.

Buy. Now.

Yeah, I know. The problem is that there's barely any info to be found anywhere.

This is as good as it gets, I guess.

First of all, calm down, and behave.
Secondly, it says in the very description of the forum where you posted this thread that rom requests are forbidden.

And off to the trash can this thread goes.
