And Asterix might've been subbed. Not sure. Every other animated show is dubbed. And yeah, you get used to reading subtitles if you live in a non-english speaking country, since every live-action show and movie is subbed ('cept in Germany. They dub everything, and it sounds horrible) As for the anime question.. Hate dubbing in general, and it's pretty much impossible to say something the same way in english as in japanese. And, um, yeah. Sub good, dub bad. |

| Eh, there aren't really that many fast food joints in Halden any more. Burger King closed down, and McDonalds is too far away for people to go there during breaks... The kiosk chain Narvesen had cheap Hot Dogs some time ago as a promotion, so they were visited a lot, but other than that.. eh. There's a hot dog stand (or whatever they're called) near the school, that sell decent asian food, but it's not exactly cheap. Um.. the coffee machine at school has good coffee. That's something. |

| I collect a lot of comics. Since pretty much all norwegian comic magazines print more than one comic, I'll put the names of all the comics in the magzine in paranteses. Now: *Spider-Man (Amazing Spider-Man, Peter Parker: Spider-Man, and a few random spidey-stories (like an issue of Tangeled Web (#12, if anyone cared)) *X-Men (all three core X-Men titles) *Daredevil (Daredevil and Marvel Knights) *Marvel Universet (Iron Man, Captain America and Black Panther) *Marvel Superheltene = Marvel Super Heroes (Fantastic Four and Thor) *Mega Marvel (Ultimate Spider-Man, Ultimate X-Men, Ultimate Team-Up, The Ultimates and Hulk) *Gigant (various DC stuff. Currently printing Batman: Hush, Superman: Birthright and Kingdom Come) *Larson's Gale verden = The Far Side (The Far Side, Dork, Dilbert, FoxTrot, Get Fuzzy, and a bunch of scandinavian comics you haven't heard of. They'll also start printing Opus in the next issue. Opus rocks.) *Bizarro (Bizarro, Speed Bump, The Hots, Tom the Dancing Bug, Cowboy Henk, and a lot of scandinavian stuff.) *Manga Mania (Love Hina, GTO, Blade of the Immortal, Chobits and "Get On Gatapishi-Car!!" (never heard of the last one. It's not any good either)) *Rocky (Rocky (swedish comic. Very good), K Chronicles, Boondocks, various scandinavian stuff) *Gorilla (Pretty much all scandinavian stuff. Mosty stuff kids aren't allowed to read/watch. However, this isn't America, so this kind of comics are allowed in regular stores. There's a british comic named "Ratbags", which isn't very good, the rest is scandinavian. Mostly norwegian) *Donald Duck & Co(various Disney stuff. Mostly Donald and Mickey. Fun fact: In Scandinavia, Spider-Man is considered more childish than Disney) |

| Eh, we've only had one cancellation, due to pretty much the entire town being covered in a layer of ice. And the cancellation wasn't because of the bad weather, but because the teachers couldn't make it to school in time. I used 45 minutes to get to school, and it's practically just downhill for me, so.. My dad used 2 hours to get to work, since his car wouldn't go anywhere, and there weren't any buses, since they wouldn't go anywhere either. (edited by Adamant on 03-18-04 05:07 PM) |

| Let's see.. FFVIII: Lost interest or something. Yeah, I know, I should beat that game. Got to that desert base about hafway through disk 2. Populous: The beginning (not sure how far I got. I think it was to the third planet or something (that's stage 12 or something like that) It's hard. Oddworld: Abe's Odyssey: Hard. Argh. Never got very far. Somewhere around the area after you've completely escaped the factory (and can't see it in the background anymore. It's just the 5th checkpoint or something. Metroid Prime: Shame on me. Not sure how far I got either. I did beat that snow monster, that's all I remember. Wind Waker: Yes, shame again. I have an assload of figurines, so I'm NOT restarting this one. I beat Forsaken Fortress, and I can't remember where I'm headed now. At least I think I beat it. Turok - Dinosaur Hunter: Got to stage 4 with one life remaining and very little ammo. Yes, the boss on stage 3 kicked my ass, and now I'm too weak to get anywhere. I'll restart and plan ahead a little better next time. Mario Sunshine: Blue coins = boring. Got all the other shines, except a few of the "100 coins" and "get red coins in bonus areas" ones, but those aren't terribly fun. Pikmin: Never really held my interest. Got to stage 4, but didn't find too many ship parts there. Sonic Adventure 2 Battle: Not really abandoned. I haven't played it in a long time now, but I DO have a lot of emblems (including Rouge and Eggman's all-A emblems. And I almost got Knuckles's too.) I'll get the rest eventually. Goemon 64: Not sure how far I got, but I DO have all four party members. Fun game though, I really should beat it one day. |

| Um.. I got a christmas present from Unsaco, the guys who deal with Nintendo stuff in Norway. You know, that Zelda collection disk with the NES and N64 games. They gave out free games to all the mods on their forum. |
