It's on Sonic Adventure DX. Haven't played it, though. It takes a lot of emblems to unlock.

Hmm... Mario and Sonic... ah, save for Super Mario RPG, those games aren't RPGs. People have ALWAYS expected RPGs to have at least tolerable stories.

Not always. The very first RPGs had plots that could be explained in less than 5 words. "Kill evil bad guy". "Find treasure." "Rescue princess."

You started at point A, and had to make your way to point B, where you fought the boss. And, unless the "plot" revolved around killing him, you found the treasure/princess after the battle.

(Take Wizardry, for instance. Not much plot there. You go to the dungeon, kill the evil guy, and recover the treasure.)

Ugh. Yeah, I have this problem too.

I go to bed around midnight, is unable to fall asleep before 2 AM, wake up at 7 AM, fall asleep in class, is wide awake at work, go to bed at midnight, and is unable to fall alseep before 2 AM.

I should try sleeping pills or something. Or do you just fall asleep more easily, but still stay sleepy when you wake up?

Yeah. I remembered most of it, but I didn't remember the exact wording. Ah well, I did better than half of you guys anyway. Mwahaha.

Episodes where you can download episodes tend to disappear quickly (or get turned into a pop-up hell of dead links), and there aren't really any Pokemon torrents anywhere, so finding it on the net can be hard. Then again, burned DVDs with this episode turn up on ebay pretty often, so it shouldn't be THAT hard to get your hands on.

Wario Land 3, hands down. A gigantic world filled with stages you had to revisit multiple times to get the items you needed, a very interesting day/night system, the wonderful treasure system.... Definitly one of my favourite GBC games.

I did play it for a few months, but eventually got bored of it. The main problem is that I need a 60hz TV to play it, which translates to "the one in the living room that my mom doesn't want a console hooked up to".

Yeah. I did get a half decent collection of insects and fish though.

Posted on 09-10-04 02:58 AM, in Halloween is drawing nearer! Link
Ah, yes, Halloween. It's not celebrated over here, it's just that all the toy store picked up the tradition so they could sell expensive crap to parents whose kids had been nagging them about it. The aforementoined kids then run around and annoy people by asking for candy. Not that they get much, since most adults don't buy any candy for this day. You know, since it's only a recent fad the stores started to earn extra cash.

Yeah. We rarely get any visits, and if we do, my dad just give them some crap they don't want (like carrots. The kids don't want those) to get rid of them, and make sure they never return. His plan works pretty well.

I don't buy CDs, but here are the DVDs I've bought this year (well, at least those I can remember)

The Ring
Rowan Atkinson Live
(Those two were a batch I got for a gift certificate I had to use that day.)
Kill Bill vol. 1
Casino Royale (It was cheap. And it's funny.)

I'm waiting for the extended version of Return of the King before I pick up that movie. I have to at least rent Punisher as well. Some moron decided it shouldn't be released in theaters over here. Even though Punisher is a lot more well-known in Norway than Blade and Hellboy combined. And those movies were released. (Hellboy has appeared in ONE comic book, which has only had one issue released so far, and he had to share it with 4 other comics (They were all good, though.) Blade has had a cameo in a norwegian Spider-Man issue once. Punisher currently has his own comic book here, and Punisher stories were printed in an old comic book called Magnum some years ago.)

And if you can't use those, you could always try the Adventure Island series. There has to be at least ONE Coconut tree in one of them.

Hm, I should try Mozilla one day. Opera has somehow decided to suck lately, placing text outside the page so it cannot be read, doing "illegal operations" all the time at certain sites (even when I'm not actually doing anything. Some sites (like animelab, for instance), are pretty much a ticking time bomb when I visit it using Opera).

Ah well, it's still better than IE. Everything is.

It's not a Mario game either. Not that the kids will care, as long as it says so on the box.

Upa was also one of the main characters in Wai Wai World 2 (though the main character from Contra was as well, and he is much much better. Think about it, what would you rather defend yourself with, a machine gun or a rattle?)

No, FF4ET and FF2US are not the same game. FF4ET is practically FF4 with easier monsters and some minor changes to equipment to make the game easier.

FF2US, however is an easier AND less complicated version of FF4. Most special skills were removed and a lot of nifty (though not extremely useful) items were taken out. The various status healing items were all ditched, and the Heal Potion was made much cheaper and available everywhere. Oh, and the script was written by drunk monkies. (Though, getting the Pink Tail and the Adamantium Armor in FF2US is next to impossible, due to the Alarm item (instantly throws you into a figth with the rarest monster in the area when used. Kind off an ass to get, though, as it must be stolen from an enemy in the Giant.) being removed from the game)

Well, there WAS this arcade game where you attacked stuff on-screen by waving a sword around. I tried it once, it was 3$ and I was unable to hit anything. Yay.
