| I think it's possible to beat Dragonlord at level 20, but I've never done it. He's not that hard at level 21, just cast Healmore once your HP gets low, and he should eventually die. As for Quick Man, just use Time Stopper for the seond part of his stage, and bring an E-tank for the boss. There are enough E-tanks in Wily's castle anyway, and you wont need them on any other levels. |

| Eh, pizza and burgers tend to be on the expensive side. I used to eat a lot of hot dogs when this kiosk chain had a discount month (but so did half the school, so the good hot dogs got sold out pretty quickly). There's this hot dog stand not too far from my sschool that's owned by thais (I think), and they sell a lot of asian food. I usually get a spring roll with sweet chili sauce - not that expensive, and very good. |

Originally posted by Emptyeye Bah, wasn't the entire POINT of the Dragonlord that he's a weak loser? Then you kill without any trouble, laugh at his sorry ass.. and then he transforms into a huge dragon that murders you in half a second. And yeah, with the best equipment, you can beat him at level 20. PSC saved perfectly for me. At least PS1, haven't played the others yet. |

| While we're talking about 3D games, what about Doom? Sure, it looks pretty if you're standing one meter from the TV without moving, but once you actually play it, it feels like The Marine is on crack and drunk at the same time. It lags like hell (or whatever), you can't see enemies that are standing still 5 metres in from of you, aiming is really hard... Oh, and you can't save, and if you want to play multiplayer, you need two TVs, two consoles and two games. Yay. Really, it's amazing that the developers managed to cram Doom into a SNES cart, but appearantly, they were so happy that they accomplished the feat that they didn't think about making sure the game was playable. Wolfenstein was the same. Laggy and unplayable. Jurassic Park and Toy Story were the only SNES FPS' that worked, and they weren't pure FPS either (plus, they weren't any fun, but that's not the point) |

Originally posted by The SomerZ Further proof my parents are primitive cavemen stuck in the 80s. *starts playing Pac-Man* Wee, best game ever. Yeah, I was spanked as a kid. No hard feelings or anything. In fact, I believe parents have become too soft. It's not good for a kid to be protected from everything. If they do something wrong, you punish them. That way, they'll learn of consequenses, and they wont attempt to do stuff like that again. If they aren't taught this, they'll most likely get into a lot more trouble once they grow up, and ae more likely to turn to crime and drugs. Also, what's up with all this protection on playgrounds? Is it really nessecary with a huge layer of sand under every tree that can possibly be climbed? It wasn't 15 years ago, and it isn't now. If the playground was safe enough back then, you don't need to close it due to new regulations, made to prevent kids from getting a tiny graze that doesn't even bleed. And no, a 7-year-old doesn't need elbow- and knee pads when riding a bicycle. Yeah, I'm ranting way off topic. To sum it up: Punishment = good Todays society = stupid. |

Originally posted by Melvin Word. I remember in my 9th or 10th grade Religion book, there was this picture of some guy counting his gold coins, while his wife was reading the bible. "Look, he's counting his money, that's what people did back in those days blah blah blah ect. Oh look, a bible! If we take the money and light and the assumed time period this painting takes place, it surely must allude to the following bible quotes: *enter a bunch of quotes that have nothing to do with the picture*" These interpretations are probably created like this: Professor guy: What does this painting of random geometrical shapes MEAN? Painter (I refuse to call them artists when the boxes they draw is something I could whip up in half a minute in paint): Isn't it obvious? Professor guy: Well.. oh dear me, a red triangle. It surely reflects upon the passing of time, and that we shall all die and be judged one day. Painter: Yeah, whatever. I call it.. um.. "Passage". Professor guy: Brilliant. This is surely a masterpiece. |

| It's Adamant. He's a black mage who's very inactive in the SF. JDavis edited an MM7 sprite to look like him, then I edited that sprite a bit (removed his hat). |

Originally posted by Legion Not the real Pac-Man, but the 2600 butch-fest of Pac-Man. Due to Pac-Man's popularity, Atari made about 14 million carts. So the remaining 10 million or so carts were buried together with ET. It's worse than the other games because it's Pac-Man, and people expet Pac-Man to be good. ![]() THIS is NOT Pac-Man! Originally posted by Colleen Yeah, the indoor scenes in Jurassic Park were first person. The AI was really bad, so these levels where way too easy. As for Toy Story, about halfway through the game, there's a first person stage where you save these green alin toys from a crane game. No enemies, just a time limit, so it's pretty dull. | They never taught us anything like that, we just had to remember. Of course, I don't remember anything about that stuff now, except it involves the sides of triangles, but I'm sure the book will tell us what it's about if a situation we'll have to use it appears. Ah well. I had my finals Wednesday. Not sure what the english name of the subject is, but it involves databases. So we had to create a database for keeping track of delivered essays and whatnot (easy), write an ad for a laptop intended to be used by some university student (Not easy), and some notes on why you chose this and that application in the ad. (not easy if you didn't know what the hell you were writing in the ad. Which I didn't.) We'll see. |
