Nope, so I'm going to have to try it.

**Edit**
HEY They work for the PRG0 rom... which means I am either going to rehack a PRG0 rom or just not worry about it, sadly the rosary code just freezes when you run out of hearts though, but I do like the holy water, that one is pretty cool.

Nah, I already tried lol I might just wait untill I'm done with my current hack and then make a hack where you play as Grant from CV3, and hardcode some of these into it.

And if I do that I need to know if anyone knows if your whip actually gets stronger when you get whip powerups or if it just gets longer.

You'd think that lol I thought that too, but I could find the same consecutive string of data in both of them.

Don't worry, it took me like a year to find a hack I like working on and finish it up, the best thing you can do is finish your first hack, and then just do small edits on other games to work up your skill, and then release a REALLY awesome hack.

Jasukan: Yeah, I was going to change the boots to red eventually. I didn't like the idea at first but it grew on me.

iamhiro1112: I know they're supposed to be green, but due to the pallete restrictions they have to be grey.

ANNOUNCEMENT: This hack will be followed by another CV hack called-"CastleVania: DeNasty Dynasty" starring Grant from Castlevania 3.

I'm probably going to keep the original monsters in the game, just because it's a cool mix of new and old, but I did make a new death! I started with a base model of the Symphony of the Night Death, and then changed it around a bit.

I haven't even bothered finding enemy sprites lol I've just been finding pictures of them and then hand drawing them (like the Pungachi). Yeah, I might make Drac's head a little shorter, my firs order of business with him though what getting rid of the old head's bannana nose lol

I'm not going to lie... I'm just bumping this thread up some. I'd hate to have a bad turn-out for the AHA voting just because people didn't see the post.

That bull man. Trust me, one of my favorite hack I've ever done was just a GFX hack. That's the most old and boring form of hacking there is, but to me it was my best executed hack. Just because someone can do sick ASM hacks, doesn't mean you can't do something just as incredible with GFX and Level changes.

Darkman?! lol That wasn't even finished, and it totally pales in comparison to the GFX hack I released in December. I like how you have the bomb in there, VERY Haunted Castle

If this hack wasn't so cool I would complain about how unpractical it is... but I can't... it's just too freaking sweet!

The Spring semester has started, and I don't have much time for hacking, but I want Orchestra of Despair to get finished, so I was wondering if anyone wants to contribute. All of the TSA stuff is done, all that needs finished is the level hacking. I don't have time for all of it, so I want to know if anyone is interested in contributing the new levels. I'm going to be making The Dark Corridor myself.

The Levels:

Entrance

The Main Hall

The Crumbling Tower

The Long Library/Chapel

The Dark Corridor - Dr. Mario

The Clock Tower

**Edit**
I forgot the IPS!

And don't just say that you don't like Simon's feet in this thread...
A) I changed them
B) This thread isn't for feedback.

Well I have to give a huge Congrats to my boy Shadic for cleaning house with Musroom Nightmare, good work man! I also want to thank whoever voted for me if it was more than two people. I'm happy I won something this year instead like last year, when I was nominated for something and then the category got scrapped lol

Has anyone found any data for the game Strider? That game is incredibly sweet, and it would be fun to make some hacks of it.

Oh I forgot to say I mean the NES one.

This is a review for the steaming load Space Shuttle Project for NES by yours truly:

So lets get right down to business. They make you fill out a form with your name on it, just like a REAL spaceman! the only difference is REAL spacemen don't have to stop random flashing numbers to enter in thier secret mission code, let alone have to select thier own ship from a random flashing list of ship names. That's right you HAVE to do this correctly or you lose a life. Did I mention that it's near impossible to actually see the flashing numbers? I guess they felt blue on blue was a good color scheme for a life and death situation (i.e. Filling out a form.)

So I filled out my form, and now it's time to prep the ship for launch. As commander of this mission it is MY job to make sure the Hydrogen and Oxygen valves are open, because that's what commanders do! Oh and those valves? They are moving blue bars of death, that prevent your elevator from moving! Don't miss the coundown!! If you do, you lose a life!

After I open the valves and get my fellow crew members to get off thier lazy asses one at a time I'm treated to the countdown... with REAL PEOPLE VOICES!! That's right, you actually hear mission control counting down! Well that's untill you get to "4" then it just beeps, oh well, I'll live.

Time for takeoff, as you are heading up into orbit you have to go through a slew of near impossible to figure out meters to make the ship do stuff that it needs to do. If you mess up a meter guess what happens? You lose a life.

Mission time. They have you do fun stuff like launching satelites (If the HUGE satelite you are toting gets hit by a smaller Tie-Fighter satelite then you lose a life, you run out of Oxygen in space... you lose a life.) Other missions will have you build a space station (If you get hit by a tie fighter, touch the red barriers of doom, or get crushed by the crushinator... well you can guess what happens. Oh you have an Oxygen meter in this one too.)

After that hard mission, it's time to go back home. This is exactly like take off, except with some different meters.

When you land, you get to see a news paper that calls you a hero... that is untill Mission 6... the last mission.

In mission six, you take off, fix a space station, and land. All retty much routine, except for the impossibly fast death valves that you have to turn on, the "valve" meter on takeoff (which is a six step game of "Simon"), and the fact that fixing space stations is hard as crap.

If you survive this suicide mission somehow, you don't get a newspaper...
oh no...
you get something much worse...
GEORGE BUSH SR.! That's right Mr. Read-My-Lips himself gives you a pat on the back... Congratulations my ass... it's more like

Yes... While the demo was freaking sweet... it just bugs me out that I'm playing a demo of a post apocalyptic world as what appears to be a guy from a Game and Watch game. I have to say though, of all of the Homebrew NES games I've ever played this has probably the best platformer engine. (With the exception of "Painguin: TKO to the Third Reich" which is just as good)
