Well, they have already been able to execute DS code from a GBA cart in severeal ways.

So as far, it seems easier to start it from the GBA slot than trying to make a own cart. They use something called "passme" or they hack the firmware.

FreeBSD is... well. I hadn't tried it and probably woudln't until I get my grades set.

It's one of thoose OS's I should try whenever I have the time. I probably run it in VMware thought... I don't have any spare computer I want to test it on and I never used any BSD system before.

As freaky as thoose creatures are, they are no danger for our daily lives obviously. So i'm not "freaked out" if anything.

To be honest I wouldn't think it would be a snail if I saw that thing, it looks like a Final Fantasy enemy.

But google does show adsense ads in the pages.

Still, adsense ads dosen't annoy me. They're text only, and unless your on a 400 baud modem or something...

I have two gmails, but I use the other one for eh... certain things that needs e-mail.

...g-mail notifier was the first extension I downloaded and used. Other than that I really hadn't gotten crazy with Extension until lately.

My favorite being downthemall... oh boy how useful that is on certain sites.

...no backup dial-up or something? My ISP actually offers a dial-up number which costs per minute, but is good for emergency situations where my DSL is down.

Needless to say, I never had to use that with my current ISP.

Dunno, Longhorn no longer looks promising when you have seen Tiger and some of the latest Linux distros.

Microsoft really do have alot to catchup with. If they want to get anywhere.

And yeah, I do have tried Longhorn... nothing impressive. Just stripped away features. It was more stable than earlier Longhorn betas, but thoose had more features at the same time... :/

To be honest, i'm probably one of the few who had a chanche to play Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles with two other players.

And I found it more tedious than anything.

Zelda Four swords is better when it comes to GBA>GCN connectivity. It also uses it in more clever way...

There is also Starfox Assault, which have a nice multplayer if you like the Starfox series. It's alot better than SF64, who had very poor multiplayer (the match could easily turn into stalemate due how easy it was to evade shots in SF64...)

Edit: Assault, ASSAULT! XD

There really isn't that much diffrent between Simcity 2000 and 3000. Mostly graphical changes. And 3000 is just less annoying than 2000 in my opinion.

Simcity 4 is the best one, since it's both competive and more realistic. It's also the most hard one. I would love Simcity 4 for DS, if they did include avenues.

The biggest problem with Linux is how hard it is to... let say mantain.

Anyone who says that Linux have a crap installer probably hadn't installed Linux in years. Certain distros even surpasses Windows installations in both function and ease. The problem is that it usually stop to get easy as soon you want to change some configuration or installing programs. :/

But, Linux have gotten easier to use lately people say. So I think Linux could be more mainstream, even if certain nerds don't want that.

N-gage anyone?

To be honest, the risc of having alot of functions on a mobile is that a few features tend to get subpar. Or that a few features that works great for one thing just totally destroy it for other purposes.

Another bad thing with all in one thing... well if it breaks.

Bill gates have said alot in the past, he was the same man who said that 640K is enough for anybody after all. And that open source is communism...

I have a old cellphone that works remarkable well, I can call with it and that's enough. I barely use the SMS function. And I do have the money for a new mobile phone, but I rather buy a few games for that money.

Heh, I would call this rather lowtech. Considering it's not that hard to convert the signals the LCD screen get and put it on TV, as long you get the right parts.

...and how are you supposed to play on that thing? XD

What does Mountain Dew taste like? It's not over here, and I hadn't seen it in any shop.

I usually buy Coca cola light, with a Fanta wild berries now and then when I feel like it. The only recent expriment I did taste was Dr pepper, and now I do understand why it wasn't a success here. Maybe I just need to get used to the wierd taste...

You need to diffrence between Truth and opinions. And this article is very flawed.

Companies like Red Hat started off as an open-source organisation and they now package up open-source code and sell it for their own gain. I'll let you form your own opinions on that smilie face.

Ladies and gentlemen, GNU have stated in the beginning that Open source is free as in freedom and not as free beer. (or gratis or whatever). There is nothing wrong with selling it, as long they still do provide the source. (none is gonna sue me if I start selling slackware distros for 1000$ each beside my garage, as long I distrubte the source)

Open source is not meant to blow away propetiry software, I doubt it ever will. I think they will exist side by side. And boy, Open source does include alot of money. There is alot of money going around, usually investments from companies. So I really don't see the logic behind that article. What, he is afraid of a econmical collapse with open source projects? Tsk, I think it just will be about the same.

I get the impression that the article states that open-source is anti-capitalistic. Which is far from the truth...
