Did anyone forget that Manda came to the old board back in 2004 and did flame both Anya and Hiryuu? She got permabanned for that, althought it is debatable if it was enough for a permaban. And well, I wouldn't mind her unbanned now. As long she keeps herself calm.  I talked with her now and then back then so I never had any personal grudge against her. | Well, yeah but it just got released in Europa. And the old thread is too old to bump. :/ Ironically I got the game yesterday. Or rather my sister did. It's over my expectations. I was expecting it to be meh to be honest. It's multiplayer is awesome so far, much better than S64. Where things could turn into a stalemate. Heh, even if on foot mode don't beat any FPS it's alot better than it was on SF64. And it's so fun to hit a arwing with a bazooka, pisses the hell off my sister. (and you tend to panic whenever your in a middle of a field on foot while the other people have arwings. You only have so much life...) Hadn't got far in Single player, and i'm not able to play it in two weeks. | Select run in start menu and write dxdiag. Test if directdraw works correctly. Still, RA2 is a very combitable game. It can run on old computers very smooth, I know that from experince. It might be some setting in the game that makes it act like that I suppose. It's possible to "flush" the ingame settings, it will then default itself. I check which file when I get home. What screen resolution do you use outside of RA? Just wondering, then RA2 uses a very low res (640x400 or something) so it shouldn't be a problem really.  Edit: Can you check RA2.ini in the RA2 folder? What does it say under video? FYI mine is: [Video] ScreenWidth=800 ScreenHeight=600 StretchMovies=no It might be not that, but it's easy to fix if it is... try changing it around. Also try to move RA2.ini to another folder and see if it helps. The game creates a new ini file if one is missing. | I'm not surprised if that was just a picture, showing what the PSP can do. And oh, nice to see that the reverse enginnering on PSP have been succeful as the DS reverse engineering. Maybe I should post another thread about the DS one thought. An GBA can emulate SNES, but without sound and choppy framerate. Both DS and PSP should be fully capable for SNES emulation, and i'm expecting to see one for both handhelds. |

| I remember getting a N64 emulator early. Thought we never downloaded ANY N64 roms. And well. Most N64 games are annoying to play on my keyboard so I hadn't been so hot about N64 emulation. N64 roms are still hard to get, althought I think they become more common as the more outdated N64 get. If we want to get bitchy with definations, then we should call it ROM images.  I hadn't been in the playstation scene, althought Bleem was the first commercial Emulator I heard about. Anyone remember that one? (It should be crappy compared to newer emulators thought...) |

| Yes Evolution is a theory. And I also see creationism as a theory. Nothing is 100% safe in science, questioning things is what makes humans go forward. Being stubborn with one thing is not... Creationism and Evolution can co-exist sorta. Evolution don't really define on what started life after all. And oh, i'm sure Jesus exist. Well, i'm not sure about the thing he did, althought i'm not trying to prove against him. The only thing I can be sure of is that he must have been very darkskinned, for some reason the church portray him as white when the people down there dosen't look like that at all. |

| Well, maybe I beg on her that she should left the game at home on the 21 (when she get home again) so I can catch up. Boy, I better try the other control settings. The other ones seems so better for tanks and foot (I mean, to AIM up and down in regular control mode you have to stop competly... not good.) ...and Trapster, she actually bought another controller. | My connection was down from 14:00 until 20:00 everyday during the summer of 2003. It was Radio, and I think it was some overheating. The antenna was on some Silo, and it was the hottest summer ever too. (that summer where alot of people died in French...) it died competly as I just got Gunbound addicted. Luckily we still had the dial-up connection for another month or so before we got ADSL. ...and there is nothing wrong with dial-up really. Apart from the fact that you can't download files at amazing speed most sites do go at a nice speed. Especialy if you're using a browser with a good cache system. The worst thing with Dial-up in Sweden is the fact that it's pay-per-minute... it just makes you feel forced to do alot at the same time and quick too. |

| IE is not free competly, you need a Windows license to use IE. So it's illegal to use IE in Wine, unless you own Windows apparently. Blah, I wish the English language had a diffrence between as free as in beer and free as in freedom. Swedish have at least... and a few other languages but not English apparently. Even if the word gratis exists, almost none uses it in English. In my personal experince it's usually 3rd party plugins that cause browsers to crash, kinda funny how a failed quicktime installation did make both Firefox AND IE to fuck up whenever the plugin had to be used... And of course I reinstalled Quicktime. |

| Did you have any SMART warnings before? Messages such as "backup data immidealy". Sometimes thoose warnings aren't always right, my HD did only show thoose messages on april 1st. Very strange... and that was after my dad did do a virus scan. (which is alot of work for an HD). Heh, i'm not surprised if you need to repartition that thing. (partitions are on lower level than the filesystems is, formating a HD gives it an filesystem) And i'm the hell not surprised either if it breaks down after some time. Get a new HD, they are very cheap. If you get the HD working somehow, backup the hell out of it before it stops working competly. And well, I'm actually prepared for that day when that HD dies competly. Whenever it's tomorrow or in three years... |

| I might not the be the only person who noticed this but... with this thread there is 666 threads in general gaming. And oh, Nintendo of course. There is just so many game series from Nintendo that I love. And I actually did play SEGA during my childhood but I always found the Nintendo games better. |
