Mmm, should we blame on the fact that I decided to give the board a rest yesterday and just train and play the whole day? Oh well, it's not like the board is dying. We had lower activity at times back in the end of 2003. |

Isn't it enough with me pointing out that the topic was change a week ago? Oh well, I better finish that game of Civilization III I have. Civilization is the best turnbased game I ever played, but I can't play it 24/7 and i'm soon finishing it. :/ |

No, it's someone else turn to come up with something. Why not talk some about Advance wars? I'm playing it like crazy right now, and even made a nice little map that needs to be balanced. It's a 1VS3 style map but the lone player maybe have a little too good advantage. And I ran out of bases and cities to set out on the map... oh well. |

Count Xkeeper out if he dosen't show up during the weekend. I will be away the whole saturday for a test, but when I get back i'm sure in the mood for a game. And Trapster's connection did suck, no UDP and it's a 500 ms ping. When the IRL distance is 30 KM... |

We also have alot smaller database nowdays. Now we maybe could even have a more effecient way to search... oh well. If a search dosen't get added, I want to know why at least. There is ways to make searching fast without losing alot of cpu power, but that's more advnaced than a few PHP lines. |

I care, I am happy as long people start to use other browsers than IE. I don't care if it's Opera, Firefox, Safari or Konqurer. As long it's somewhat standard compilance. If a page dosen't work on Firefox, when it does follow the W3C standards and all. Report it to Firefox, have anything that you don't like about tbe browser? Tell the devolopers that. Hell, i'm considering to contact them about the CSS thing. ...now, try to contact the IE devoloprs and see if they do anything. |

...to be honest I never liked Konqurer when I tested it. Then I didn't really test it throughly... maybe is gonna do that later on when I get around installing Slackware over Windows 2000 on this computer. | |||

So far I have only catched on admin to start checking through my admin box, and he isn't a admin anymore anyway. But I always try to IM when it's private, and not PM. Still, an Admin shouldn't randomly look through other people's PM's unless they have a good reason to. Such as abuse. Oddly, it's called private messages on every else than on the front page. And yeah it's called Private messages on the front page. I think I kinda know why it's called Messages thought, it's becuse of a certain feature that wasn't added (but planned). I'm not sure if Jesper is still implenting it. :/ |

To be honest I hadn't installed that version of MSN, but i'm going to later today. ...handwriting have been around since the early versions, it's just been hidden for most people until now. I had it unlocked for years before. Fyxe: Currently "structure" (base/city/port) wise the three players have little less structures together than the lone player. Althought some of the lone players should be easily capturable, but i'm not sure when the lone player starts with alot. Then the lone player can't attack the other three as there is a pipe in the way. Computers never destroy pipe seams for some odd reason. So I have created defense for the computer on both side of the pipe. The three players starts with four regular soldiers and a recon (it's a map designed for fog of war), just to give a little quicker start. Expect from a HQ and a base, they don't start with too much else. Sadly you can't play a computer only game, I wish I could. I would like to see if the battle is even or if it's very unfair. I want to give the lone computer player a slight advantage as computers tend to do stupid decisions. But I may have gave the computer too big advantage... |

Originally posted by ||bassHmm, good that you said "atleast for Windows users." Since the IE for Windows License state that you much have a Windows license. Which make it illegal to run in Linux with WINE, unless you actually do own a Windows license. I have no reason to even use IE in Linux, while I am a Firefox user I would rather take Opera/Konquerer before IE. Ah well, I might say. If this is return of the browser wars where each browser adds new HTML tags that dosen't follow the W3C standards... -.-;;; Oh well, some competition can only be good for the consumers right? IE7 wouldn't be a good reason to buy Longhorn if they kept with the orginal plans. With the lack of WinFS, is there really anything in Longhorn that is intresting enough to buy it? (well, apart from the fact that they probably will abonden WinXP is some point in the future) I probably would install IE7 to the latest version when it get's released, but I doubt I use it. |

(althought I have most of my stuff on the other computer, so I reach my things over the network. ) I know someone with a Terabyte harddrive. I forget if it was 10 or one Terabyte, probably just one... oh well. He made the mistake to partition it as one big partition as possible and then format it. xD Windows 2000 is just around 700 MB when newly installed. So you can fit quite some stuff with a old 2 GB harddrive. (I have one...) |

I suppose your using Windows XP Mmm, althought that could crash the computer too. Since console mode in Windows XP is basically making it start the command prompt instead of explorer.exe. That's something to try at least before doing the extremes. If it still crashes even while doing in "Safe mode with command prompt", I would suggest trying to delete it outside of Windows. Like by using a NTFS driver for DOS (I think there was one somewhere) or by using a live Linux distro that can write to a NTFS filesystem (or by using a Linux distro on the same computer if you by any chanche have one), but doing it outside of Windows may break the whole NTFS filesystem. |
