| Gamefaqs, honestly. And I still do visit that place, as long you avoid the fanboyism that exists there (well, it exists on this board too. Just not at the same extent) you can find quite some intresting rumours. Which sometimes turns true. Like with the Wi-fi thing for Nintendo DS... that was more of an speculation than a rumour thought. I lurked on alot of Sim sites, there is too many of them to list them here. I was and still am a big Sim games fan, I love Simcity...  |

| Mmm, Word open thoose textfiles fine thought with thoose wierd line-breaks. But Word takes so long time to start, Notepad is just lighting fast. Linux... well, I hadn't found anyone I liked. The thoose I tested was terminal ones, and they kinda confused me. But after some trial and error... it wasn't that much of a problem.  I either use Notepad or an hex editor. | I just forgot to mention, this was one of the first boards I lurked at. Yep, when I think on it I found Acmlm ROM hacking domain back in 2000. I saw the old Ezboard based board. I think I actually did register once in 2001 or 2002 but didn't use that account. I have foggy memories of registering on the board... just not posting. :/ Oh mother how funny it was when I tried to find this site again. I typed overclocked.acmmlm.org acmmlmm.overclocked.org and so on since Acmlm was so hard to spell for me... Then I usually entered the site through overclocked.org, but that started to be kinda... slow. So I added it to the favorites. And hey, one day I got broadband... | It happened two times even, or three times. I had a Town square thread for awhile, then it got deleted later on the same day. :/ First time was Legion cousin... well sometimes I really wonder if it was his cousin or him who was pissed off on something, the second time was someone who had found some Full mod's password and well. |

| Let see. 1. Yiffy Kitten started a OMG MORONS SLAYERS CAMPAIGN and decided to close down the ACS with a few other staff who seemed to get tired on the spam. 2. A certain forum got closed down... 3. Board restarted, and that certain forum wasn't closed down for some reason. Even if a certain admin wanted that... 4. Alot of people was banned for... posting low quality stuff. Even if they hadn't got a warning before some of them... personally I thought that a mass-banning was... well. Somehow it felt wrong, but that's me. Besides it's so long time ago, no reason to bring it up again. 5. People missed a all purpose thread, and therefore the Town square thread was started by... was it Hiryuu, Colleen or Anya? 6. Staff realised that ACS didn't decrease or increase the amount of spam. The ACS returned, this time with a hard post limit, since the Town square thread was for discussion now. I really hope that the board dosen't go that harsh direction again (OMG BAN STUPID USERS). Really, people was banned for being stupid but at the same time they're were ignoring certain persons who did flame, but no action was taken against thoose. Not saying we should allow spam or anything but... well. I'm so glad that a certain person is not a admin anymore... (sorry for bringing up the past, but I felt like bringing it up  )Hey, someone should rename this thread. | Perfect dark 2 is so bundled with the Next-Box version of Duke Nukem forever. Right? Honestly, Rare hadn't done anything... eye-catching since Perfect dark. The last game I played from them was Starfox Adventures and that was just... uhh. Nice graphics, nice sound but gameplay was rentworthy... I can realise why Nintendo sold off Rare, thought it's not like Rare makes big losses for Microsoft. Then Microsoft are starting to lose... shares in other areas that have nothing to do with Video-games... |
