| Well, but then broadband is quite cheap around here. 300 SEK per month is quite common fee. And most things are more expensive here in Sweden, then we do have alot of things that are free here but cost money in US so it evens out. So oddly, Dial-up is more expensive than broadband here. Unlike US. That one month when I lost my broadband, our interet fee was on 900 SEK.  I think i'm catching up with trapster.  ...activity is at a halt right now, then all people in US hadn't woke up but well... if there was a few more Europeans around. | Actually i'm not taking post counts that seriously, it's rather more people are trying to not to care about it. Back and forth posting is something that I hate. I get so annoyed seeing 20 posts in a topic, and 10 of them is from the same user... however a certain active user seem to love back-and-forth post. No wonder why people seemely get annoyed at him. But eh, saying when you hit 10000 is bragging? Come on. It's just a estimation. And well, I have seen advertisment for furry porn sites on the bathroom walls on my secondary upper school. And no it isn't me who have done it. I am a procrastinator too, I have this report to finish on Monday. I hardly started on it. I think I will finish it but it would be painful. | For awhile ago there were rumours that Microsoft actually blocked certain software, becuse of that program not working correctly. As if Microsoft blocked it for Wine. And it seems to be true. Wine is a quite intresting program, I succefully ran Command and Conquer: Tiberian dawn. (the first CnC game) in Wine, and it ran it more stable than Win XP, and supported Network unlike Win XP. ...althought it ran very slow. Then Fedora core 2 have some issues with Wine.  |

| I don't think a single person could change the market that drastically, but after all. Sony's console is the most depandant on 3rd party games. Both Gamecube and X-box have quite some 1st party games while Sony do have some 1st, but just not that many. Besides, would a single person change the market like that? Did Final Fantasy Crystal chronicles really affect Gamecube sales that much? I doubt that a franchise, or a big name would affect it that much. Sale-wise, the future seems to be... odd for the next three consoles. The market could flip again, and it could be Microsoft leading. But then, I really don't want a big one company controlling most of the video game market whatever if it's Sony, Nintendo, Microsoft or EA... It will be intresting to see if the game winds up to be good thought... big names aren't always the same as big games. Peter Molyneux anyone? | It looks like one of thoose patterns you could have in Win 3.x/Win95. Anyone remember that? You could have them instead for backrounds, as they took less memory. Now they no longer exist. |

| A way to add content, not saying I would like a online game where people could freely upload stuff. Just think of making your own shield or something, and then it have to be approved. That would stop people making porn logos at least. And a common sense test would be so easy to add. |

I don't find them anywhere in Win XP at least. I don't know about 2000 and 98. But i'm not surprised that they're still there. |
