The only porn I have seen with decent plot is Hentai. I can name one manga that have a intresting story... hentai seems to have better story than western porn.

I mean, TV repairman comes repairs a tv and then the female pays back... that's how much storyline there is usually. XD

Sometimes I check out FAQ's and such after beating a game, if I missed a big secret or something. Or if I get really stuck, but that usually just happens in stupidly done RPG's.

I cheat for testing thought, and sometimes I just like to make up cheats in Fce ultra. I cheat most of the time to screw with the game, not to "win it". Some games wouldnt' be as enjoyable with cheats, such as Simcity 4. Half of the fun in that game is balancing the budget while having a nice city.

And online cheating just sucks, it's no fun using cheat against people... and it's not fun when the opponent does.

Keep in mind that changing "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" to 0 can slow your computer down some. Especially if it's old. At least that's what I heard from other persons.

I try this out at least, if anything I could just set it back later on. If it's that's good, why isn't it default? Is it something that's in beta or?

Edit: Heh, it's quite alot faster now after loading a few pages and such. Firefox was faster than IE before for me but now... wow. o.o And I really don't notice any slowdowns with having "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" on zero, but I test that on a older computer...

Ooh... it's an X-box with added features.

(hey, I was just joking there... but X-box is a PC with Windows as core. Althought far from the same Windows as computers use. Much more lightweight and such...)

But uh, why would it be illegal Ziff? Unless he sells out copyrighted games without permission, he is just techincally selling out custom made PC's for use on TV's.

Actually it's not slowing the thing down, and I doubt that Firefox really differs that much from the OS's. Firefox in Linux is pretty much the same when youre using it and how it works. I do know since I have Linux on one of my computers.

Setting "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" to 0 didn't slow this computer down. But I test it with my extremly picky 400 mhz and see if it slows that one down. I doubt it's a OS thing...

I'm not sure how much effect that pipelining have thought. But I did notice a diffrence with changing the delay.

Edit: However, a certain graphic heavy Swedish newssite loaded alot faster than usual. So it probably had that effect...

Kyouji Craw: No need to point that out in that way, I forgot that he mentioned that. Happens to everyone... Sometimes that just happens.

But wouldn't it be a more of a challange if you started from scratch, competly? >.>

Heh, games involving alot of luck probably would be the hardest to do a speedrun of. Anyone would do one of Golf for me? (wait... I will do one. xP)

Edit: I may as well mention.

I fixed my NES controllers today, i'm so fucking happy right now! I hadn't used my NES in what... eight years? I don't remember playing on the NES since I got the N64.

I only have six games, but I plan to find old games in Pawn shops and such. Yes i'm quite into emulation, but I just love having carts sitting around.

No, i'm not early with this thread. We celebrate on Christmas eve in Sweden, which it is right now (00:38 currently xD). And someone had to do the Christmas thread right?

And what the heck, make this the offical Christmas thread. We could discuss the diffrences in how we celebrate Christmas in the world (and all other things related to Christmas). Such as... we have ham instead of turkey in Sweden. And we open the presents on the evening of Christmas eve. >.>

Merry Christmas yet again and... pity you americans that have to wait yet another day for opening the presents.

Nationalism. Arrogance.
Dude, I knew I should have typed "rest of the world".

(althought to be honest, we don't have that much time to actually "test" the presents on the evening... so it isn't that big of a diffrence)

No reason not to point it out that way, either
No need to point it out yet again...

...anyway, this is going in circles. XD

And hey, the thing that messed the Control cross was actually just some dirt. Yes dirt, something as simple. Cleaning it really fixed it. Before I had to press hard to even move, and Mario just would move a few inches on the screen before stopping. o.o However I can make it out why the same problem happened to both controllers...

Are you sure that Goldeneye game wasn't that wierd Rogue agent one?

The PSP is fine, althought the DS intrests me more with it's game and features somehow. None of the PSP games intrests me, since i'm really not that into Final fantasy first off. And i'm not really intrested to see movies or listen on music, since i'm not that a big fan of music/movies.

If the battery time is around three hours, heh... it's not gonna be the handheld I would use on long travels. I don't do thoose very often, but I tend to take my GBA SP out whenever i'm going somewhere.

...yeah. Goldeneye: Rogue agent DS

Sorry to burst your bubble.

Loading time is actually on the devolopers too, Gamecube games and probably X-box ones too seem to have faster loading time than Playstation 2 (I have no idea about PSP's loading times, keep that in mind...). But at the same time, it's on the devloper too. I have seen a few Gamecube games, mainly multiconsoles ones that takes ages to load. (anything above three seconds is long loading time for me...)

You know, I may wind up buying a PSP too. Why must I just have one? But it depends on if there is games that caughts my attention. (I was honestly planning to buy a PS2)

OMG KIDDY GAME, DIE DIE DIE! (heh, i'm just kidding)

I'm a sucker for Yoshi games, and hell. I'm very glad that they finally gave up the Yoshi story style and finally reuses the awesome Yoshi island one. I'm so happy.

And notice it's 2D, people would think 2D games would die with DS. Pfft.

It's a platformer, thought it's gonna be tricky to control with the touch screen. Especially if Yoshi would walk on his own, if Zem guessed right.
