Super Mario world 2: Yoshi island is my favorite. Simple becuse of the difficulty.

Mario is missing and Mario's time machine is educational games. Educational games are seldom that great as games...

Lunar magic can't open ZIP files... thought the emulators can. So I can see why he have tried to open a ZIP file

The header contains info about what game it is, and what chip it uses, if it's PAL or NTSC etc. Info that makes the game work on emulators.

There were a legal case in the middle of the 80's about emulators. And it was decided as legal.

Emulation is legal as long you don't have any copyrighted information.

Which makes me think, IPS files are legal to. As long they don't contain copyrighted stuff... graphics from other games are copyrighted. >.>

WHen I play, I don't use savestates. Beta test your levels hackers. Let other people test the game. Something which seems very easy for you is very hard for others.

And I hadn't seen many hacks where Mario is replaced...

On this page there is a Dr.Mario hack (which I hadn't tried myself BTW)

But i'm sure that there is severeal Dr.mario SMW hacks, so that hack maybe isn't the same as Xk was talking about.

I do remember someone making one for some time ago.

Edit: Well I have to agree about the enemies, many hacks lacks Enemies, there are enemies but sometimes just a very few of them, or people don't use some of them... how many times have you seen Dino Rhinos in hacks?
