Hover the mouse over one you want to use, in the bottom it shows what number it is. In the map16 editor, find an unused spot (it helps to go in order to prevent you overwriting things in other tilesets accidentally) in slot 200 or higher, click on it, hit "edit 16x16 attributes", and in there enter what tiles you want where. Select the palette, whether layer priority should be enabled or disabled (with most things it should be disabled), and what tile it should act like (it defaults at 130, the stone block), and then hit 'okay'. Click on the individual 8x8 tile in the tile preview area and then you can hit 'edit 8x8 attributes' to edit palette for the individual tile, and select how it should be flipped. When you get the 16x16 tile how you want it, right click where you want it, then hit F9 to save. Don't left click, that'll bring up whatever tile you clicked on. |

| That's cool. Not sure if I'll LOVE it, but it's cool. I think it may have been already done, but anyway, I think I see your problem. I think the file's either too small or too big. Just make sure it's got the same amount of space taken up as the other graphics files, minus GFX32 and GFX33. | |||

| It should be 4,096 bytes. As for how that translates to image size, it should be 16 8x8 tiles wide by 8 8x8 tiles tall (128x64 pixels overall). | |||

| I'm posting from work, as it's a wednesday and I'm at work on wednesdays. I should probably be filing, but instead I'm in the back room on the computer. I'm vomiting occasionally and my left hand hurts for some reason, probably from that unscheduled essay my tutor made me do yesterday. I'm left handed, by the way. You didn't know that, because I hadn't said it before. I'll probably get around to my work later, but in the mean time I'm just feeling terrible. Also when I turn the lights on I get a headache. I have a small headache just from the light from the monitor. So like I said, it's 9:18 and I feel like crap. | Oh no, that's not the problem. Ideas as to how to get them don't bother me in the least; If an admin reads this, they may even be implemented. It's people not reading the thread and talking about SMRPG that gets me. Anyway, I figure that they'll either get handed out through the ACS as was said, randomly given out as you just said, or, somewhat more likely, they'll have their own formula for collection. Probably something like EXP divided by post count divided by user level divided by ten. | |||

| The funny thing is, on an ACTUAL test, genius is 200 or above. It literally means you're at least twice as smart as the average person of your age. I was a genius for awhile, but I'm not anymore. Though according to that test my IQ is 172, but it's really closer to 153. | |||

| I'd like to go to college and learn C++, then I want to get a job with Nintendo, siting my college training, previous jobs, and previous games I've made, both ROM hacks and actual games I've programmed on my resume, and eventually work my way up the corporate ladder to become a respected game developer. Maybe not the likes of Yuji Naka, Hideo Kojima, or Shigeru Miyamoto; Just having my own fanbase and a nice income is good enough for me. Of course, I eventually plan to get married, though I don't know when that'll happen. Then I want to retire, and program in my spare time. (edited by Kyouji Craw on 07-07-04 01:28 PM) |

| Well I work at my parents' psychiatric business, so I doubt I'll be fired anytime soon :p I was hired me because I'm obscenely trustworthy and'll file and copy charts that don't have enough copies, and because I'm willing to be paid by the day, not the hour. And I can't leave work because I don't have a driver's license yet v_v Though I'll probably get one soon, as I need photo identification to take the GED... If you don't know what that is, it's a test you can take when you're over 16, and passing it basically says you've finished high school. |

) The folder is called ExGraphics. Its as if LM doesn't want to accept my graphics file. Because I follow steps I am given EXACTLY as they are given and it doesn't work. Do I need to go to the Map16 page I want the ExGFX to be on, save that empty page to get the 2 Map16 files and then try to insert the ExGFX? I really don't understand this stuff without any guidelines. I have read the help file, but its not that great for people whoi are new at inserting new ExGFX without the map16 pages. 
I'll be checking tomorrow to make sure that doesn't happen.
It would be formed as Super Mario 64 or some newer game with totally new worlds and variations of the levels...
