| Interestingly, lighting doesn't strike down from the sky, as is the popular belief. There is a heavy amount of energy in clouds, which is lost as the rain falls. This creates sort of a power vacuum... And the energy lost through the rains surges back in to the sky. Same with lightning that just jumps from cloud to cloud. As for why lightning strikes things... I don't know. |

A week ago I went to the dentist to get a filling on a tooth... You know those injections they give to numb the half of your mouth they're working on? My mouth has been hurting right where I got that injection all day... Right up until I went to make this post, at which point, it just stopped for no apparent reason  I can't figure out why it would hurt the week after and not any point before, and I *really* can't figure out why it'd just stop... |
