| Yes, it's quite nice. I must say, though, that he needs to change sprites as well as foregrounds, and he needs to change the blocks too. All the vast, expansive environments don't fit basic Mario World gfx. | |||

| Well, I think I've played far enough to pass judgment. Yoshi's Island Lake; I didn't care for it enough to play on. To those who say I should always play on, let me remind you that had his first levels not been generally bad, I wouldn't have passed up the later levels, so it's his fault entirely. Your sprites are often glitched. You should fix that. Your foreground tiles don't clash well. For the love of god, you put a pipe in water! The few graphics you changed were worse than the originals. You've got potential. With a little work this could be quite good. Drop the attempted humor, it's not funny, just stupid. Overall: Well above average. | What gave you the idea I tried to be elite? What made you think I think Mario Legacy is good? It's not even close to what I want it to be. I just said it was much, much better than the piece of crap this guy's giving out. As for the GTFO comment... I CAN SAY POINTLESS STUFF TOO! LOL UR DUM STFU!1!11. I don't think of myself as a role model for others. And yeah I like to stay close to the original Mario series, but, I have nothing against those who don't, provided they do a good job of changing everything. The single thing that frustrates me the most is people changing foreground graphics and nothing but it, keeping the old sprites. Because they don't fit together at all. Just look at them, they're completely different styles. As for his hack, he changed most palettes, and that's a good thing, some of what he did looks nice. His palette work is pretty good, even if his GFX is not. And as for the semi-pervertedness, it's original and unique, but it's also terrible. The jokes are just stupid and disgusting. Sophomoric, if you will. And the hack IS bad. Any hack that has invisible enemies is bad in my book. Funny as hell? Only a pervert would laugh at Yoshi looking for a dildo. | Yes, I believe I overreacted and I am sorry. I thought he was just following up on what he said on the other thread. And like I said in the other thread, it's not that I think that everything must have the original Mario graphics, but rather that if someone is going to change the graphics, they ought to change all of them instead of just the foreground, which is what typically happens. It's so easy to change foreground graphics thanks to the ExGFX workshop which has little to no sprite graphics (last time I checked anyway) that people are often discouraged of doing the work themselves, and thusly, they simply leave the sprite graphics as they are. It is of my opinion the ExGFX workshop should probably be taken down for that reason, but, I am in no position of authority to get such a thing done, and so I don't bring it up much. | |||

| Nicely done. My only complaint lies with the font you used on the numbers; I don't like it, it just looks... poor. My only OTHER complaint deals with the filter you used, but hey, it's just a filter, and has no effect on gameplay, and I can pick a different one when I play it. And I will play it; Everything looks great. | |||

You're not missing much. Basically, he just has a baby yoshi, a red koopa, and a green koopa, which have their graphics replaced with those of Mario and Luigi, they walk forward, and the baby yoshi automatically eats Mario and Luigi  And a golden baby yoshi. |

| No. I can say with confidence everyone who voted yes is horribly self-centered. Come on, do you know how long it took to get LM this far? OVER THREE YEARS. Do you really want to have FuSo spend at least two more years learning programming code for Mac and Linux in order to to spend an additional five years coding LM for Mac and Linux? Alright, admittedly, I exaggerated the time it would take, but it would still be a huge waste of time. It would be hell on FuSo, who has stated multiple times he just wants to get on to other work. | Well... Just... Go in to ZSNES... do a small amount of navigation in order to get in to the directory that has the .smc file, properly patched... And open it. Of course you should probably set your controls if you haven't done so already. Normally I wouldn't say something so obvious but hey, I've seen dumber things happen |
