| No, it is, you just said what you said in a particularly roundabout/confusing way. The colors used by the hat with the default graphics are colors 1, 5, 7, 8, and 9 of pallete 8. In Lunar Magic, open the palette editor, make sure a custom palette isn't enabled, make sure "Mario Palette" is the one up (or actually any of them can be up but then they'll be affected instead) and change the colors you want changed, then hit "Save RGBs to ROM." |

| I don't see what the problem is. They believe something that you do not, and you call them sick because of it. Eh? True, it seems rather disgusting that someone would eat babies, but then we're from different cultures; you and I believe things different from what they believe, but that doesn't mean they're sick, or that we're sick. | Kyouji hates you all. At any rate, you don't extract them to the graphics file; that's not how it works. In a tile editor, you would need to load up GFX32.bin and edit in the ears in the correct areas and insert the GFX in to the rom (File > Graphics > Insert GFX to ROM) And you'd have to make an ASM hack that puts them over Mario when he gets the appropriate powerup. So, my advice would be to go look at a tutorial for 65c816 ASM (SNES ASM). |
