| Eh. Upon closer inspection I see that there are. Huh. I wasn't really paying attention to the touch screen since their usage of it it's terribly good. Anyway, to answer your statement, yes. I must admit that Metroid Prime: Hunters does not feel like Metroid it. In my opinion, Metroid Prime was quite a bit like the 2D metroids, and MP2 was a step in a different direction, but not really *bad.* MP:H, at least from the demo, seems like they went and took the whole concept and threw it out the window, then made a generic FPS with a somewhat metroidy theme. Also, is anyone else horrified at the decision to make Metroids killable with just the power beam? I mean, it could be done without the ice beam in Metroid Prime in Prime 2 but if I recall correctly required quite a few super missiles. MP2 same, but, you can seriously kill them just by shooting them enough here. It's not ****ing right. (edited by Davis on 12-17-04 11:37 AM) |
