| Er. Before it was deleted it said that he was gonna release his hack but in Bowser's Castle there was a problem where entering the part with doors 5-8 turned the screen black and then nothing happened. | |||

| They say it'll explode any minute now... It already erupted with steam which is still coming... Or there's a 30% chance that it'll just continue to vent steam and then that'll be it. Of course, "They" refers to my local television news, so no links... Though online reports shouldn't be too difficult to find. |

Keeping original SMW graphics and mixing them with the occasional thing from SMAS is vastly overdone and never really looked good in the first place in my opinion, and it does not help that the level design is somewhat... Lacking. For instance, you have a Yoshi at the start of the first (second if you do the left path first) level with blatant disregard for what will happen if you bring Yoshi in to that level... And in the one right after that you've got water surrounded by throw blocks, which creates a rather awkward floating water look if they're removed, plus it's rather odd to see very blocky water not filling in the cracks in the throw blocks. I mean, I realize it's your first hack and you by no means are being blamed for poor work at first, but there are certain things which seem neat at first that look rather poor. I don't even need to explain what's wrong with the new chuck palette combined with the Marioish head  |

| Yes, that certainly explains why I would wait awhile and post it elsewhere instead of simply telling him I think his choice of words is poor. And I bet that's the only time I've seen it use inappropriately, too. In fact, everything BMF does is exactly why I do what I do, and he never ever reminds me of things I was already planning on saying. Step 4) Create a patch from Demo World and Demo World 3 with Demo World as the original, unmodified ROM and Demo World 3 as the new, modified ROM. Step 5) Apply this patch to your hack. |
