In Mario Kart Double Dash, the Blue Shell item has wings, so could that be considered a blue para troopa?

It's impossible for that situation to happen! Why? Because lets say you throw a boomerang that hits both Boom-Booms at the same time:

There is a part of RAM for 5 enemy ID numbers. The game will check the first id, see it's a Boom-Boom and see that it's dead, and change it into a mushroom, then when the game goes to the next ID, it'll see it's another boom-boom, but the first boom-boom it checked is now a mushroom, so the game will see that it's a mushroom and change the currently read boom-boom into a ? ball. The joy of sequential instruction execution!

Well I decided to do doubles again today. I was doing kinda bad, so I decided, what the hell, Imma use 1.5x... Well, I did and I passed HVAM Standard no problem. I freaked out. So I reluctantly tried Holic Heavy, passed it A, full combo first try. It seems if I use 1.5x on doubles, I can do most of the songs. I got half way past CSFILSM the one time I tried it. I must say, DDR Doubles is 10x funner than singles

Yes. I had an Ignition and it fritzed out on me in a month. Not only that, it doesn't stay put and the pad bunches up at the corners a lot :/

However, I played it smart and decided to go for a Cobalt Flux. I just wish I had the money to get two so I could do doubles, but I guess doing singles at home will suffice so I can do just doubles at the arcade

Hey, Dahrkdaiz!

You KNOW you wanna.

NO! SMB2 is my absolutely least favorite SMB game, hands down. However.... I have hacked it and added a few features. Like I re-wrote it's TSA engine and almost had it where you could switch characters mid-level :/

That's what I came up with. Maybe I could open it back up and go somewhere with it and let someone else do the levels. Creating levels is such a tedious task for me :/

Surprise! I decided I would give out one demo for everyone to enjoy until the release. This is ONLY ONE LEVEL. This is the "training" level of sorts (yes, I did steal that idea from BMF, sue me!) which will force you to use all the power-ups and their abilities to pass certain obstacles. It's not hard by any means, but you get to play with the new suits for a bit.

This demo was created using FCEUxd's Code/Data Logger, so if you happen to do something I didn't think of in this demo, there WILL be a glitch or possibly a crash, but that's only because of the demo rom, and it doesn't happen in the original version I have.

Also: DO NOT REPORT BUGS. Bugs caused in this demo are undoubtedly caused by me not logging enough things with the code/data logger.

One last thing: The level to play is the RED level tile, not the tile that says 1. Only the data for the training level exists in the patch, so trying to hack around it is futile.

There are two patches in this zip. Patch 0 is for PRG (0) roms and Patch 1 is for PRG (1) roms.

Go nuts!

It still is a great way to distribute a demo though, if you don't want anything else included in the rom.

I suggest you just deal with the bugs untill he releases the final

I fail to see how skipping a required suit by walking the entire length of the fortess ceiling has any relation to logging? Once you exit the fortress, you cannot return for the boomerang suit. That is what we call a genuine bug.

No, that's what we call bad level design

Anyways, holding up in the air and pressing A with Raccoon Luigi will make him do a multi jump. Each jump subtracts 10 coins from your total. If you have no coins, he can't double jump. However, I may take that feature out in the final.

Well this won't be "improved" upon: this was intended to do that so if you're flying and land on another area, you can't just start running and fly again instantly, practically flying through a level with no trouble at all. This feature stays in

Building a flash cart, to my understanding, all you need to do is buy the correct EEPROM chips (one for PRG-ROM, one for CHR-ROM (code and graphics respecitively)) and take the chips out of an NES cartridge. The cartridge you choose will designate what games you can and cannot play on this cart. All you basically do is take your EEPROM (electronically erasable programmable ROM) and replace it with the one in the existing NES cart. I believe it's this simple, but you definitely want to find a document on it at Google to guide you through the process.

Well once you install the EEPROM, I think the only way to flash it is to take it back out, flash it, write to it and reinstall it. It's cumbersome to say the least.

Too bad the itty bitty tiles and sprites still make it look ugly, yet this cannot be helped. However, your take on the graphics is definitely a nice improvement and makes the game more barable to look at, nice job

Well, the level design leaves something to be desired, but the Raccoon suit is pretty darn cool and fighting normal Hammer Bros. rocks! I'm glad to see more people pulling off crazy cool ASM hacks. Keep it up!

Appareantly someone forgot to read this thread. If it's not at Zophar's, found via searching Google, or any of the other major rom hacking sites, then there's a good chance there isn't an editor for it.

Well this isn't a simple data edit like you might hope. I pulled off a similiar trick in Mario Seasons, but it required a tricky ASM hack to do and I could only do it because of ROM expansion.
