| My mom just got 2 more hardrives from one of her friends. She currently has 2 of them in her PC right now. They aren't very big or anything; here are the GB: I. 3.7 GB II. 8.4 GB III. 6.6 GB IV. 7.8 GB That is a total of 26.5 GB. My question is: She has 2 HD's in right now; 3.7, and 7.8. The computer runs fine. She also has 6 extra 256MB RAM sticks, and one 128MB RAM in this PC right now. She wanted to put two of the 256 RAM sticks in, so she did. The computer refused to load. She took one out, the computer loaded, but was INCREDIBLY slow. She put back in the 128MB stick, and it was fast. Why  ? We are running windows 98 if that makes a difference.Also, she wants to put the other 2 hard drives in. She has room and everything needed for them to work, but is worried about speed. This PC slowed down abit when the second HD was put in. She thinks that with 4 of them it will be really slow. So...will it? In short: We want more RAM. We have enough to have like 1GB of ram (Four 256MB sticks for the 4 slots she has in the tower) but is Win98 capable of having that much? And we want more HD's. So thats why the board has been so slow. I thought it was my crappy computer that was causing the problems . My pages render in about 10-20 seconds, when usually it is about 2 seconds . I have just been leaving the board if it takes to long. But now that I see it's not my PC, it's not that bad. |

If you mean about the link I provided, I was talking about how the rules don't apply to everyone even tho Mods say they do . | The only superstition that I believe in is that if you say something, it's bound to happen in some way, shape or form. Black cats, cracks, salt, black salty cracks, all that stuff is just bologna . | The above post looks good. I never really liked the flashing. The flames are awesome, and so is the boarder around your stats. I also like your other layout better, but this one is good too. |

Personally, I will NOT miss your old layout one bit. This one is so much better, and best of all, no white .I didn't even notice the edits because the edit line, for me, shows up right on the mountain/grass line. I had a layout a while ago that made it so edits didn't show up...I really need to find out how I did that .So this layout looks awesome! Much better than the old one. |

| I am thinking about getting a Sony Mini Disc player. Or maby an iRiver...I heard they were good. I need a small MP3 player that is pretty much like foobar2000. Currently, I have a CD walkman that plays MP3 disks . It's good for now, but really it is just to large .@Kasumi-Astra: That is hot. If only it supported playlists, that would be awesome! |

| Oh, I did make a huge typo. I meant to say MB thru that entire first post, not KB. This PC has 128MB of RAM. We have tried it with 256MB, and it is damn slow. It doesn't even run at 512MB . If the HD's run at the speed of the slowest, then that is no good. I think we will have to stick with the 2 we have now. Or I could try and convince my mom to make the 2 largest ones replace the two smaller ones we have now. She doesn't want Windows XP thats all (the 2 largest HD's have XP) beause of "privacy issues". She is paranoid when it comes to that stuff...I will get her to read this topic tommorrow morning and see what she has to say. I just want to play my frickin Sims games ! |

| Maby I'm just explaining it incorrectly. I saw it in a mensa book a while ago and had just remembered it a few days ago. The game has a real name, but I can't seem to remember it either . I guess no one can really do it then.Oh, and it really depends on the words at how easy it is MoN. For example: slogan -----> banner. None of the letters match up at first, but by changing one letter each time, you need to create a new word each time. I don't even know if this one is possible . But if it's easy, maby you or someone else can figure it out? Who knows. |

| Your tileset looks like the human body cpubasic, so maby add some teeth? or veins? or bones sticking out of the skin like stumps? It does look very plain right now. | Wow, I just found the coolest, and weirdest bug ever in a game: I started up Save File 1, and it started me off in the snow world. Thats why when I got to the castle, I couldn't go anywhere from there. I thought the game was MEANT to start of there...I was wrong. So I had only played 4 levels or so, and thats why I thought something was messed up. So I started the game again on Save File 2, and it started me on the main overworld to the left and I made my way to a factory. Judging by other peoples posts, this is where you are susposed to start. So it seems to me that depending upon what save file you chose, you start somewhere different . I haven't tried #3 yet.And just to make sure that this wasn't a one time glitch, I completly re-downaloaded and patched everything to try again. The same thing happened .Is that what you are talking about Anikiti? |
