1. Yep. Use the layer 1 8x8 tiles to create a new overworld .2. You make the paths light up using Layer 2 events. It is explained in detail in the LM help file. Please read that first and then ask here again if you still need help. If you read it really well and follow the instructions, then you shouldn't need anymore help with this matter. 3. Yes they are. I'm not sure why it's like that, cause it sucks, but there is no way (that I know of) to have the two at different X's and Y's. 4. Eggvine is the YI editor. It doesn't show graphics, but if you are determined to hack YI, it is a very good editor. Here is a link to it: Eggvine. And here is a link to an awesome hack made with Eggvine: SMW2+ 5. Change the BG initial position around (under level header I think), and it may fix the problem. 6. By basing your hack off of SDW, which can be found at FuSoYa's Site. Just google his name and you will find it. Iif you want your own music, Blackhole89 was working on an editor called Solar Soundtrack that looked very promising. I'm not sure about its current status tho  .7. Go to FuSoYa's site. There is a program called YCompress. It will extract almost all of the YI graphics and sprites from the YI Rom. I don't know about all of you, but it seems to me that people who have moved to Canada from other places in the world seem to be more patriotic than those who have lived here all their lives. Also, its usually older people that celebrate it by having dinners, and get togethers.. And then the newly adults that celebrate it with beer . And the teens that try to celebrate by "getting hammered", and they drink like 1 beer. And then the little kids that wear red and white and wave around those little paper flags.And then theres me that changes my desktop to a phtotshoped canada flag once a year on this day, but keeps my old desktop as a desktop item so I can still see it .Oh and then theres the people that don't find out its canada day until they hear the fireworks at like 8 PM...lol. |

| cool glitches. I have never tried the first edible mario one. I will try that sometime soon. Sounds interesting. < Would it be possible to put Yoshi's Tongue graphics in the same file as Yoshi's body, and repoint it so that it loads up the new graphics? That would solve the ghost house/castle yoshi's tongue problem. Just a thought .< |

| You mean like some of the paths in donut plains in the original game? If so, they are just regular layer 1 tiles. When you're in layer 1 mode (the mode you use to create the land masses), just open up the 8x8 editor. Go to palette 4. Yyou will see peach paths, and then green paths a few lines below the peach ones. Just select a tile, and paste it like any other tile. Then just assemble them into paths like the peach ones. It's really very simple to create an overworld once you get the hang of it. Hope that helps. |

| I need to get a clock that will count down 4 years from July 18th 2005 to July 18th 2009, down to the seconds. I saw a timer in Xkeeper's layout counting down to his 18th birthday, and a clock like that would be perfect. Except because mine would be down to the seconds, it would always be moving. I am pretty sure this is possible with .php but I'm not sure how to go about it. I have a host for .php (www.funpic.org) so thats not a problem. If someone can help me in making this, that would be awesome! Thanks . |

| About the first level shot. I just noticed that MARIO in the status bar is miscoloured. That needs to be fixed. Level 2's BG is really nice. You must have used alot of palettes for the gradient. Maby adding some clouds in the BG would make it look better. The FG is very ugly tho. It's way to green, and it doesn't look good without black outlines. Add some more color and black outline and it will look good. The status bar in this shot is nice tho. |
