| I will try the hax editor. The reason I used L.E. is because I had to expand a rom to apply someones hack. the hack didn't work so I copied over it with my hack. guess I will have to start again! *2 nights work down the drain* | |||

| Thanks every one for the help. Clockworkz, the hex editing idea was wrong but I figured out how to "reduce the size" my own way so thanks. My hack is fine now just need to edit all the levels. I am in the process of inserting objects, mainly just blocks. I have been using Block Tool and it sucks. Is there another object inserting program for this game that works well?? FOR THE FOLLOWING I HAVE CHECKED THE L.M. HELP FILE I have consulted the help file but don't understand what it is telling me to do when I am trying to insert ExGFX. I can get them into the map 16 pages and view them in lunar magic (in the levels themselves) but the graphics are screwed up. The help file tells me to extract the GFX, insert ExGFX and then reinsert the GFX so all the graphics are 4bpp. I do this and the backrounds and objects are still messed up. what am I doing wrong? Thnaks to anyone that can help me! |

| the reason i don't like block tool is because I can't figure out how to get blocks into my hack. i open my hack (in block tool) and insert my block (it works fine with no errors) but when i open lunar magic to use the block it isn't there!!!! Help me!!! please |

| I have an over world that is pretty much done but i need some help with ExGFX (the palm trees, mushrooms, and pyramid from SMB3), MAJOR HELP WITH EVENTS, and help with the star, pipe, bridge exits/entrances. I can patch my ROM to IPS and upload it to my site. If someone could help me, post and say you will, and i will upload my IPS. |

| yep 77 max BUT some of the events have parts a, b, c etc and some are just plain numbers. For example 1, 2, 3abc, 4 etc... I think? |

| yep your right above poster! and when you view details (i just figured this out) it tells you how to insert it but "kirby all the way" has a great explination of how to do it. EDIT: I have uploaded the IPS to my site, look below. (edited by playstation3 on 04-17-04 10:51 PM) |

| to kirby: Do you know how to insert those SMB3 GFX into the overworld? well first I should ask how to extract, or where to find these graphics. I need a palm tree, pyramid, sand, those rocks in SMB3 world 1, mushroom houses, and that sky fortress in world 6. I could extract these my self if I had the tools (i already have the ROM)and directions. And I will upload my ROM in IPS format to my site (look in my sig) tomorrow. if you could help me with anything (except the level design), like putting ExGFX, GFX, overworld stuff, anything you want that would be great AND I will include your name in the credits, title screen and in one of the levels made with coins and/or blocks. BTW do you know of a program that can extract GFX from games, not only super mario world, but other games too? If so you could probably get some GFX from Kirbys Dream Land for the NES. just a thought. |

| I need a tile editor to import a picture of lugies head. ExGFX are new to me and still don't really know how to get them into the game so they aren't glitched. I have looked in the Lunar Magic help file but it tells me stuff about 3bpp and 4bpp and that there should be an option under the "options" heading. I have the newest LM and it isn't there. Anyway can some one help me. Thanks |

| I need someone to help me with my events. I know how to do them but when I try to asign them to certain levels it doesn't work. You can download my ROM in IPS format below in my sig. And here is a screen shot of the Green Switch Palace level that is almost donw. I just need to figure out how to insert ExGFX and have them not screwed up. Many people have told me how but it doesn't work. I REMOVED THE PICTURE BECAUSE ITS TOO BIG. ITS ON MY SITE IF YOU WANT TO SEE IT EDIT: Tell me what you think of this level. | Kirby all the way you need to expand the ROM to 2MB If you still can't get it to work I could um....*cough*up-load-the-rom*cough*. its illegal but thats only if you can't get it to work. When you are done, if you get done, just tell me and I could PM you the password to my website and you can upload the IPS. | or you could download SuperGee: http://www.12ghosts.com/download/ and Irfanview http://www.irfanview.com/ Then use the 12 Ghosts (supergee) Clip program and open up LM. Open up to the screen that you want and press: Ctrl+F11 That will take a picture of the current screen. Doing this makes screen shots like the ones I have. Look at my website (in my sig) for two examples. |
