I normally use FCEU. Though NNNesterJ (spelling?) is also good.

I don't have a layout, but my avatar is based on the SMW Bowser's Castle. I drew the red "TC" icon next to my name.

I've never changed my name here, but I did get in quite some trouble for having fake accounts (Star Amy, The Matrix, Sumo King, Famisa Aurora, etc). That was a waste of time. I might put a "homage" to them in my signature, but I've learned the proper rules since then. Other names I have are: Mirrorraichu (outdated, I no longer use it) TheclawDX Theclaw2 (on GameFAQs) Theclaw135 |

Favorite: History, I guess. There aren't many interesting subjects around here. Least favorite: Any math class - these are so boring! That's not all, but I'd end up ranting and raving about it. |

Windows 2000 / 98SE (I can switch) Pentium III 500mhz 128mb ram 128mb PCI video (upgraded from 4mb onboard) Onboard sound HDD 1: 8GB HDD 2: 20GB DVD player CD burner 56K modem PS/2 mouse and keyboard Others: scanner, printer, gamepad, etc. My system is quite outdated, it even uses a slot 1 CPU instead of socket 370! Several of these items were added after I got it. |

Genesis with both Sega CD and 32X attached. The 32X makes things even tougher.

I have no idea why, but the wheel on my mouse doesn't work under Windows 2000. It's fine on 98. I've tried that whole "look for wheel" option too. The mouse has no brand name or model number on it either. What should I do?

It's a PS/2 mouse. There's no visible FCC ID, but it has some other numbers I don't understand. UL listed: E1347802G55ITE BPCS# : 281-00002-000 Model: MOSUK US pat no. 5,557,450 Germany pat no. G9317838.7 Altough it has no manufacturer mentioned on the case, this came with an NEC computer. The scroll wheel clicks when you push on it and should be working as the middle button, but isn't. |

You can't shut down this site! How could anyone post? Also, I'm not even going to try arguing about goatse, tubgirl, or catgirls (whew, first time I've used these words). No, I won't search for them in google either.

I had no idea such a thing happened. That's because I quit visiting for a while after getting in trouble on it. After "rediscovering" the place when searching for myself in Google, it looked odd since everyone's post count (and the number of posts in general) was so low. I'm thankful the admins didn't kick me out again. Also, the progress on my hacks are virtually frozen now. As if they weren't already that way...

http://www.angelfire.com/pokemon2/theclaw135/rocks.jpg This link is to a picture I drew today called "on the rocks". It has May from Pokemon pointing toward a somewhat funny looking Latios & Latias. No, Ash and Pikachu are not in the picture. It's not colored either. However, I did have to make some edits. A bug (the 6-legged kind) somehow appeared on the original scan! Careful, this picture is about 500kb and might take a while. The one below is an official computer drawn image of what the character known as "The Claw" looks like. BTW, I think this might be my first post ever in the forum. I'm rather poor at art-related things, so don't expect much. If you didn't know already, I use the Angelfire page only for things which require direct linking. |

Looks perfect, but your download doesn't work properly. You should know that Geocities won't allow direct linking to files. I might be able to host it. This is one of my favorite games (especially since I own the real cartridge)! |

VIII is the only one I can reach disc 2 on. Haven't played the NES versions (technically started I, but didn't "play" it). I've never seen the ending to a FF. I voted for VIII, but X is probably better. YAY for graphics! *waits to see if anyone picks a GB FF or XI* |

If I actually work on my hack (it's been a while), these are some I use: Lunar Magic SNEStool LIPS (sometimes) Tile Layer Pro Block Tool (I've inserted blocks, but haven't used them in a level) SNES9X (for testing) ZSNES (same here) |

LM is easy for level design, but editing the overworld can be very frustrating. That's why my hack doesn't have many changes there. I also don't understand fancy things like hex editors or ASM, those are best left to the "expert" hack-makers (a new term for us!). It'd be wonderful if someone would build a Pokemon GSC editor for me (I'm not hacking this game until then)... |

I really like it when people import GFX from different games. There's going to be some kind of LTTP-related secret in my hack, but it's not ready yet. I see nice light effects in those screenshots too.

There's one word for mine: Pokemon I also enjoy thinking about how awesome it would be to own a bus. Having somebody fall in love with me is another one I'd like. Of course, getting rid of this old 56K connection might help too... |

I have no idea why, but LM (1.61) is behaving very strangely when I try to insert the GFX into a certain ROM. It keeping setting the default offset to 656874, which isn't even a valid entry to begin with. I've also tried changing the offset manually, but that messes up my game in some way or another. I do have the GFX folder and an IPS to make a copy of my ROM in a ZIP file. If testing this yourself is what you want, let me know and I can either upload it to a web server or e-mail it to someone. This problem doesn't apply to exgfx. In case you're wondering, the rom is 2MB. (whew! I'm actually discussing my SMW hack. Sorry, no screenshots for new levels yet...) |
