| This should be stickied. You've done a great job with Data Crystal so far, and I like the organization. I'm getting better at finding data here lately, and would love for it to be available to everyone, without making a new thread here (they get buried so quickly). It was my first Wiki experience, so I made a bit of a mess at first with my pages (they got cleaned faster than I could look up how to clean them) but I think I have the gist of the whole thing now. I mostly work with unheadered ROMS, but I like the idea of placing SNES addresses with my findings too. |

| Yes, most games have map headers and properties, like map sizes and all kinds of other properties, but different for each game. I used to corrupt roms to find data, but I never mastered it like Jigglysaint has (he corrupts and finds better than most people trace and find). If you can find where the game stores the maps in RAM, it's usually pretty easy to find the data in the ROM itself, especially if it's not compressed (even if it is, it's still pretty easy). Map headers would be pretty hard to find through random corruption, though not impossible. Your best bet would be to corrupt values in RAM untill you hit what you want, and then find out where it is in the file. Map headers and the maps aren't always stored near each other though. I lucked out when playing with Paladin's Quest for SNES, the map headers were right before each map. |

| http://www.square-enix.co.jp/ff4a/ looking through the official site, it looks like some nice changes are in store. Swapping party members, portraits within the textboxes, new portrait art... Some of the updated battle backgrounds look fantastic (even in the horrible compressed screencaps they have going on). |

| It wasn't that bad of a movie, I thought it was pretty darned decent. If you base your movie viewing on reviews and critics, you will miss out on alot of good movies. In the movie Doom, The Rock wasn't meant to be the movie's 'action hero' (was the reviewer even watching the movie?), though I won't spoil it for you. |

Heh heh, now that I have a fast enough PC to run the game, the game will be spoiled because I watched the movie. ![]() |

Look to the left, the word 'Event' itself is a blue color. Click it, and the event editor will open up. ![]() |

Originally posted by Colleen It's tough to really measure how much fun people have here, and I commend him for taking the time to make the graph and make it look nice. ![]() I venture out of the Rom Hacking forum every now and again, and I notice a thread or two with everyone and their brother screaming 'drama' and 'acmlm's is doomed'. But honestly, another year, another reason to get worked up. I've seen few occourances where I couldn't post something or read a post, but where on the net doesn't that happen? Too many people complaining about how something their favorite board, and yet they can still post and read posts, and do all those things they like to do here. Ignorance is bliss, continue posting, continue having fun. Something here bother you? It's just like TV, change the channel if you don't like the show. |

| Wouldn't that plan fail if Autoplay were disabled? |
